  • Store bought garlic paste usually contains a lot of chemical compounds, lacks the original garlic flavor and it is also quite pricy. That´s why I will show you an effortless way to make your own garlic paste without any preservatives. This homemade garlic paste is super handy, way cheaper than store bought and without any artificial ingredients or preservatives. Additionally, the flavor is amazing.

That´s great, I make every month a batch. It is so much cheaper and tastes much better than store bought garlic paste. The blender was a worth while investment.

Hi, I'm looking to make this to surprise someone that wants try to garlic paste from the store that we can't find anymore. It looks really good.
How much lemon juice is supposed to be added? I didn't hear it mentioned in the video and it's not listed on the ingredients list.

After blending, my paste was both green (turned green overnight) and sour.

Don't worry. Garlic that turns green is completely safe. The colour is probably the result of a reaction between sulphur compounds and amino acids (building blocks of protein) that are naturally present in garlic.
