      Yes, when on BT the pickup is a little more concentrated on voice which can be good. And when you are using the BT, that's the only audio that will be recorded, the X4's mics won't be on.

    So once it lost bluetooth connection. It didnt seem to reconnect once you came back.... so the Bluetooth reciever on the 360 is the issue, why a reciever would effect the transmission is strange

    • @elJong
      @elJong  Před 22 dny

      Sometimes the BT connection drops intermittently, but that would still reconnect. However if you turn off the X4, then you have to reconnect the DJI Mic again.

  • @Reviewtheworld7
    @Reviewtheworld7 Před 22 dny +1

    32 bit float only works when using the dji reciever right? And dji bluetooth with out the reciever restricts you to a single mono channel instead of stereo or two people mics at once.... are you using two transmitters for your interviews? The noise reduction destroys the sound, dont use it. Do it in post. Def get some cos11 sanken mics. Not very expensive and better than broadcast quality. I am sound engineer for many tv network shows

    • @elJong
      @elJong  Před 22 dny

      Yes, 32-bit float is only on-board recording to the mic, so nothing to do with connection to the recording on the camera (if it's connected). For this video I wanted just the simple connection tests to see all the differences straight out of the box. I, myself, don't dabble with the on-board mic recording (32-bit float) since I am not a pro and just want to get videos out like non-pros do.

    do you have any issues with audio sync to the video when you export your video after editing?? i can’t find any answers online, i recorded a 3 hour video and edited it down with audio from dji mic and insta4 and audio is in sync in the editing portion but when i export it, the audio is way out of sync

    • @elJong
      @elJong  Před 2 měsíci

      I've never had any issue with the audio syncing, but I've never recorded that long of a video! Action cameras are built more for short bursts so maybe cut down the length a bit? Also maybe the frame rate? The default fps of the X4 is 30 and sometimes the default of the editing software is 24 so that'll cause a little disparity.
