This list is very accurate it's so funny when you mentioned the superman soldier because literally the only reason I bought it was to complete the bvs collection.
I agree. I own a Funko pop of D.Va from overwatch. The pink looks airbrushed on but the rest looks fine. The colors are accurate and all, but its just the pink on suit. But, if you keep her in the meka you can't see it. Also because the bad paint job was on the back. But I'm not giving it away because that would be 100$ wasted. Also because it was a birthday gift and I still love it.
Agent 13 has batons in Winter Soldier. Because it was announced that she'd be in Civil War and they design and release MCU Pop!s before the MCU films come out they based her design on her civil war role.

East Craven It’s sort of a tricky thing to measure. I guess if I were in Funko’s position I would release a “regular” pop of a certain character, and then have the “rare” be given a different look that stands out. It’s sorta like how the Pokémon cards work; sure, you could have a Charizard card, but if you’re lucky you could find the ultra-rare-hyper-holo charizard card. That way people who simply like charizard can have the character, and collectors can go out and find the more valuable version of the card.
Couldn't agree more on the Qui-Gon Jinn... I have more than 100 star wars pops and that release almost make me stop collecting them. Is really sad when you want something and you see a huge part of the stock sold to idiots who want to make money selling it for 300$ ..and dont even care about the character, crushing any chance for you to get it.

I only buy the ones i want, im in a pop group but eh i am NOT like the others who just collects and collects hundreds of them, and i dont think i have ever gotten every pop in a certain line. There is just so many i dont want.
Gets me really mad too.. Collecting is meant to be fun and it isn't when people just buy them up and sell for double, triple the price. It disadvantages people. Pops are meant to be fun and cheap, and idiots try profit off that.

yeahhh I agree on the gold ranger one. I work at ThinkGeek, where you could ger her in our GameStop black Friday boxes. I mean they made our store a lot of money but I didn't think the quality was worth the rarity and hype....then again I don't collect or like Pops, we have so many examples of pops with AWFUL paint jobs that I can hardly understand their popularity.

The Twin Peaks "non-chase variant" should be no. 1 for next years list. What was supposed to be a chase of Leland, turned into a very expensive sticker. People are charging 50-100 bucks for the Giant in a Leland box and the idiots are buying it.

Star Trek: Beyond was a very disappointing line for me. They all more or less had the same body just recoloured. I wish they made them stand out more, for example Bones could have had a tricorder in his hands. Indiana Jones was super disappointing, for the exact same reasons you mentioned for Qui Gon jin. Also calling it now, but if you make a list for the worst 2017 Pops! the South Park ones will be on it (the glams were pretty bad, and the wave 1 picks were so weird, they made Ike over Stan and Kyle?)
When the characters have uniforms or very similar bodies, different poses or items (like you said) in their hands are a must. I heard the south park ones look way better in person than they do in the glams. I think I may pick up a couple even though they don't look that great at first. And yeah the choices they made for the first wave are really weird. Is ike even a popular character?
Collecting Plastic I have zombie Kenny and Cartman and they look good, but yeah, weird choices for wave 1. You'd think they would do Normal Cartman without glasses, normal kenny, Kyle and Stan, but no. Cartman with the I AMA LITLE PIG E eye chart, Zombie Kenny, Ike, Butters, and Mysterion.
Great video, agree with your list, especially the MegaMan non metallic paint job pissed me off. If u planning to do the same list for 2017, I nominate the Power Ranger movie set. Similar problem, looks cool and metallic in any marketing materials, but the actual paint job is awful, I mean... terrible and not metallic at all.

Not sure but if I had to guess I think he'll stay at 30 bucks or so for a while. Maybe if he has a big role in season 4 of rebels more people will want him and the price will go up.

Great list man. Dude I didn't even notice the sideburns bahahahaha. I didn't mind the Shane that much but yeah it definitely could have been better. My only complaint with the megaman series is the poses. Even if he was just holding up the blaster would have been better. Wish they could have incorporated the power up with something other than just the color. Even still they will look pretty good side by side.
The only Funko Pop figure I have currently is Jesse Custer from Preacher, and I'd like to get the other characters in time. I also might pick up the Ren and Stimpy figures, my nearest comic book store has a shit ton of these Funko Pop figures
I've trimmed down my collection by about half in the past few months. It just seems like pops are everywhere these days. I missed the days where you actually had to hunt for them. I've noticed several stores with major discounts lately almost like they're just trying to dump them.

Now i DO think we need to see more variety waves in the future. More enemy bots instead of just the same figure redone 10 times in different colors.
That is a good point, paintjobs do vary, especially when enough time goes by that a new batch comes out. But that ice slasher gamestop mega man... they literally just made the shirt a greyish white instead of light blue and called it a day. That to me is an example of an exclusive being way shittier than a common. Also, with certain pop lines, you don't have t go searching through 50 pops just to find a decent paintjob. That is ridiculous. Not all pop lines are created the same. The megaman series really did suffer from some of the sloppiest paint jobs I have seen from 2016.
Ok ok the yellow ranger you may think the thing is linking if you see the original image you can see that it's the spikes so the gold isn't really leaking on the visor but it's just the paint job that annoys me too but it's not leaking I would still get this if it does have a bad paint job or maybe I can't see the leaks but I believe it's better than agent 13 but still it'll hold Funko more so?
There were a number of Megaman games on the Gameboy and later models of the Gameboy were more black and white than the green hues of the original so perhaps thats what the designers worked from?
so, your issue with the zur en arrh batman is that people were only getting the pop because it was "rare", and nothing to do with it being zur en arrh batman since he's not a well known character, yet you're upset with the limited release of the star wars character mentioned because it was a popular character? and maybe to not limit the release of popular characters? when the zur en arrh batman was just that, a limited release more obscure character? make up your mind
I strongly agree with you on Megaman and the million variants they made of him lol. I also thought they were going to be metallic but I was very disappointed when they werent.
I know the glams usually look nicer than the pops... But the megaman ones looked like the paint on shiny new cars... the actual pops looked like dollar store figures.
ok so my biggest upset was with the release of the league of legends pops. they chose ok character for the 6" pops but i would have loved if they had made an ahri. they made one of her for the mystery boxes, but a big pop would b nice to actually achieve.

The yellow ranger power coin is intentional, it kinda looks like a gold statue. But yeah, I hate when the paint gets into their visors.

Ok ok the yellow ranger you may think the thing is linking if you see the original image you can see that it's the spikes so the gold isn't really leaking on the visor but it's just the paint job that annoys me too but it's not leaking I would still get this if it does have a bad paint job or maybe I can't see the leaks but I believe it's better than agent 13 but still it'll hold Funko more so?

There were a number of Megaman games on the Gameboy and later models of the Gameboy were more black and white than the green hues of the original so perhaps thats what the designers worked from?

my friend has the completed Mega Man Funko Pop collection and I think they look pretty nice.
It seems to me that, most exclusive pops seem to have bad paint jobs. And sometimes inaccurate to the source material.

so, your issue with the zur en arrh batman is that people were only getting the pop because it was "rare", and nothing to do with it being zur en arrh batman since he's not a well known character, yet you're upset with the limited release of the star wars character mentioned because it was a popular character? and maybe to not limit the release of popular characters? when the zur en arrh batman was just that, a limited release more obscure character? make up your mind

I strongly agree with you on Megaman and the million variants they made of him lol. I also thought they were going to be metallic but I was very disappointed when they werent.
I know the glams usually look nicer than the pops... But the megaman ones looked like the paint on shiny new cars... the actual pops looked like dollar store figures.
ok so my biggest upset was with the release of the league of legends pops. they chose ok character for the 6" pops but i would have loved if they had made an ahri. they made one of her for the mystery boxes, but a big pop would b nice to actually achieve.
I think they mad that mega man grey because when you play a gameboy game on a gameboy advance or gameboy color they are black and white instead of grey
