A 79-year-old Irish lady has lived in her hut all her life without venturing morethan five miles from home. This Sequence won the UK National Championships in 2003.
I was very moved by this piece watching it just a few days after the death of my 80 year old father whose childhood home and way of life was so similar. A truly amazing woman and a superb piece of work. Thank you.

Just come across this and wow Heard the voice and choked me, 1967 My Grandmothers Mammy, Agnes, I was a kid and remember her talking to me she sounds exactly the same, toughest woman I ever met but most kind.
I used to know so many older people who lived like this in the 1980s-1990s. It seemed normal at the time but looking back on it it was like medieval Russia
