- Timelapse of Antonus 2600 cabinet building process and final assembly. Many hours of work condensed in this video! The soundtrack is made using Antonus 2600 and Antonus Step Brother, multitrack and recorded in 6 takes.
Every Antonus 2600 have its cabinet made like the classic ARP 2600 using wood, Tolex and hardware using our hands. Every unit is made with people who works with care and love, like instruments was done in old times.
In Antonus we believe that this energy and intention is part of the the original instrument and we want to do in that way, maybe is not the easier or cheaper way but is the most sincere with the original spirit, more human feeling and less mass production / automated production.

Timelapse sobre la construcción y ensamblado final de un Antonus 2600. Muchas horas de trabajo condensadas en este video! La banda sonora está hecha usando Antonus 2600 y Antonus Step Brother en multipista usando 6 tomas.
Cada Antonus 2600 tiene su gabinete hecho en la misma forma que el clásico ARP 2600 trabajando la madera, Tolex y herrajes con nuestrasmanos. Cada unidad está hecha por gente que trabaja con cuidado y amor por lo que hacen como se fabricaban los instrumentos en los viejos tiempos.
En Antonus creemos que esta energía y esta intención es parte del instrumento original y por eso queremos hacerlo de esta forma. Quizás no es la manera más fácil o barata pero creemos que es la manera más sincera con el espíritu original, más sensación humana y menos sensación de producción automática o masiva. Además de está forma podemos atender la demanda de trabajos personalizados por el cliente.

Do you think you'll do a full sized unit?I honestly missed out on the reissue and while I've picked up a behringer unit, I'd rather have a standard size 1:1 clone that accepts the modules from the original units etc

@@ZackCZcams thanks for your kind words. The VCS3 (and still making a Synthi version) are more a personal challenge. I am not planning to make some official production because for this kind of work I wish to have a deeper implication with EMS, I think that being EMS still on business the approval of the original name must agree a serial production.
