It's supposed to be like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters (a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds super weird to me!!) (yes it's an L not an i)
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...
Name change might happen eventually (I've been saying this since march...) but I'm afraid of people not liking it lol

I just wanted to thank you for making all these videos all this time. I know it's a passion and job of yours, but having videos to watch on youtube that can be this entertaining has been a big help to me. I've been using videos like yours to help me keep engaged while I do my Cardio and I'm currently down 107 pounds, more than halfway to the goal I set for myself a year ago!

I know replying to you won't really help me but I gotta be real even if it just ends up in a snarky reply from you; As someone who just stated they lost over 100 pounds, I think i'm doing just fine. In fact, I'm triumphing over people like you who go around using their precious free time to hurt others by continuing to do so.
I won't be responding after this of course, simply due to the fact that having a conversation with someone who spends their time actively WANTING to be a jerk to others seems like a silly, fruitless endeavour but I sincerely do hope that in the future, you find it in yourself to do better for others. @@Zanophane_Gaming that's true, but the raw luck that lazymattman has is absolutly absurd, he doesn't need to rigg a run to make It op, while lavencas really Well abuses of the Game mechanics, of course her runs are stronger, but is becuase she is actively riging It, ok, It also takes a good amount of luck to find the correct items, but at the end of the day, both of them have some absurd runs

Since I wanna say something, like 2 days ago I beat hush with azazel and did boss rush, and 2 days before that I got blue baby and on that run I beat saten a 2nd time, and those 2 runs I got eyes of the occult. My new favorite item other then planetarium items

Could you have dropped your trinket (and your blank rune) and made it golden or is there something that prevents you from doing that with essence of the keeper, once you've picked them up?

Perfection can't be gold, but I don't kow if essence of the Keeper is an exeption or not
@ANewSquidy perfection can not be found as gold, but a golden variant exists, just is unobtainable due to the way perfection is obtained.
She couldnt have dropped Blank Rune to turn gold, otherwise she'd lose the essence forever

That's not a mod, that's a config, look up how to turn aim with mouse in Isaac

i still got one somehow (can't link a specific timestamp rn but I think you can spot it somewhere when I hold tab)

Hey lavencas, just a small question, don't you feel like you've added a bit too many mods that just make the game... Easy? Like giant props is literally just 4 bombs for 4 to 6 coins plus a full item, the spirit of denial is infinite money and crazy strong without it aswell, you get infinite money, damage, shot speed, literally anything through the mods you added. I started watching mostly to see what crazy builds are possible in a run but that's not the same to me...
i think the better way of thinking about the issue is this: we're along for the ride while lavencas does what she thinks is fun! grinding Isaac runs gets boring after a while, especially now that novelty of repentance has long since worn off, and when you need to record, edit, and upload seven videos per week it most certainly will start getting repetitive.
sure, some of the mods make the game easier to break, but the line between where tweaking the game turns into outright changing the rules is thin; for example, EID providing crafting bag recipes is DEFINITELY not the intended way of playing T!Cain, and allows for much easier breaks as well, no additional mods required
and it's not like getting infinite money is hard in vanilla; today I had a run with piggy bank + old bandage + IV bag + restock that pretty much exhausted the store item pool (did not find chaos, sadly) on my save where I haven't even unlocked It Lives yet, lmao
