Loved hearing your thoughts on this stuff dude, I’ve appreciated and admired your approach to creation since we first met. At lot of what you said resonates with me right now as well, as I’m kind of in a break stage with my work due to health issues, but it’s given me time to really think about what I’m doing with my photo/video work and why I do it, as well as giving me time to get back into and appreciate old hobbies and things I used to love before my life became consumed with photo/video stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I’m more passionate about the work I do than almost anything else in life. It is an absolute obsession for me. But it is nice to take a step back after years of absolute of being singularly focused on that passion. It’ll only make me better when I fully get back into it.
It will definitely be beneficial once you start getting back into it. Moderation and balance is key to everything in life I've discovered. We have to be disciplined enough to realize our addictions and obsessions in order to do what's best for us. It's very difficult. Lately I've been playing alot more video games and just kinda been drowning out reality. I always think I have to go "all in" on something if I'm gonna do it. I've been trying to really change things up within the last week. I wrote on a piece of paper "Diversify Your Life" and have really been sticking to that. Never hesitate to message me. Love this, Bryce. These types of vulnerable videos shed light on the reality of what you do. If one is focused on the accolades, they're doing a disservice to the story. You're right, we can't help when the story we started with isn't the story we're ending on. But that's life. And this video was a nice reflection of that. It's not easy work.
