@@unsolveddiamond6042 The idea for (E)SO is that you pray there's another nuke frame there, so you mutually give each other as much shared affinity to weapons as possible. If you're the only nuke frame, then you're getting nothing and everyone else can AFK and profit, so that kinda sucks tbh. You wouldn't want to be in ESO with no nuke frame, though, as the affinity gain on unranked weapons for MR

The amount of people who've bashed me for not being mr 30 with how much time i put into warframe but dont know the bare bones simple stuff like this is baffling.
Thank you for confirming I'm not crazy. I use dark sector survivals to farm affinity because it drop a lot of ressources at the same time and there is affinity bonuses with those missions. I noticed we get affinity quicker when we stick togeter, but people complain when I ask them to stop wandering around.
Thanks for the sanity check, it's insane how many high MR players keep spouting that if you equip less weapons then your frame will get more exp from the general rule (which is just wrong)
Uhm... they would be right?? If your abilities doesnt kill enemies the fastest way to get affinity for your warframe is a single weapon and using your warframe....? 50/50 General Rule applies. If you kill a enemy with one weapon equipped its split 50/50 however when a ally kills the enemy the shared affinity follows the "general rule" .

@@EntropyEngine the lie they say many high mr players say is "less weapons equipped means more affinity for your frame from shared affinity." Which is only true if you have no weapons at all equipped. Otherwise, equipping a less but non-zero amount of weapons has no impact on the amount of affinity that goes to your frame
Phosphor markers, sold by Nakak in Cetus, increase Affinity range from 50m to 200m (800m on Archwing missions).
They only last two minutes though so would probably do best on missions like Mirror Defense.

@@doitfaster9553 It's really odd to me how people don't know this stuff. I usually look at these videos in case they buffed the affinity system (They need to do thid cuz not every warframe kills), but it's usually the same every time
Thanks! This was very helpful. I had heard about the 25, 25, 25, 25 split but thought that was for everything. I will now make sure I unequip what I don't need and use Warframe abilities as much as possible and ask for those Affinity Blessings more often.

Neat just decided to re look this up. Farming focus for a unairu build im working on and wanted to see if i could rank up weapons aswell or if thats still a bad idea

Don’t if you’ve tried it but using the same silence method mentioned in the video is also great for focus farming if ur tired of eso. Preferably on adaro as saturn ext has this pesky arc traps and silence seems to barely work on the roller ball units when trying to stay unalerted. Anyways keep up the good work.
Silence leveling xp on Steel Path is also a really fast way with a Arcane Trickery and Helminth Sleep.
It did change a little with a change to Eximus but it is really quick but takes more preparation plus Steel Essence casually and Arcanes
Side note you can increase affinity range in open world areas and archwing missions by using the red and blue flares. And for the Sanctuary leeching method i recommend going with a teammate who is using a Legerdemain build Mirage for normal SO atleast.
What I do is wait for them to be an option (warframe, weapons) to use in duviri(Circuit Rotation), you add an affinity booster and that increases the level of everything you carry in a run, It works well for me. I suppose it's because your allies are always close as you say.
Also one good way to level is the circuit, although yes you need to wair for your weapon/warframe to be in the rotation I usually get max rank in 5-6 rounds

Ok, thanks for the explanation. I have one question though. The focuses say that have a percentage of the XP to your Focus School. Does that mean it reduces the XP for that item by the %? Although I suppose, you can only use a focus on a max level item, which doesn't get any more XP, so you aren'tr really loosing what you aren't gaining.

I would posit that Disruption is probably a decent place to do XP too, because of the sheer numbers of Eximus units that spawn there. If you can handle the Eximus units with the weapons you intend on leveling, or go in there with someone who can kill the stuff, you'll get loads of XP. I'd rather be getting 4k a kill than 200.
I always try to do my item leveling in batches for MR grinding, fresh frame, fresh level 0 set of three weapons in SO. usually big nuking frames are common enough in there with pubs that I can leech and contribute where I can (MR 24 does mean I can mod at least basic setups onto most unranked stuff, afterall) and 1-2 runs is enough to cap out everything in the set and I can switch out for a new set.
With a max frame and lvl 0 weapon you can max the weapon out in 1 zone of you’re lucky enough to run into a nuke mirage!
When did the operator themselves need affinity ever? Like doesn't it all have to go I to the amp? I mean that's where you install the lense anyways...

I do solo spy missions with a silence mod on the single equipped weapon only time i leveled multiple things at once was when i finished farming all kuva and sister weapons had all the calculated forma build and proceeded to spend the next week living in eso foddering most of them
from my experience, on-call crewmates count as Warframe kills (or at least their xp mechanics are the same), with your crewmates kills going 100% to your Warframe, meaning you need ally crewmates to get kills for weapon xp
Can you please make a step by step, hand holding guide on what beginners should do after making a character? Maybe from start to like MR 10 or however you feel like is the right place to end the guide. Thank you
Oi, you're almost right about Affinity Range
You can increase your affinity range to (iirc) 300 meters, via the Vazarin focus school
This does increase the range of said abilities, including most, if not all, Vazarin abilities

Can you explain why when allies kill enemies they give you more resources as opposed to you getting most of the kills. It seems to me it's better to let your team mates do most of the killing say in a defence mission and such to get a higher chance of resource drop
Still amazes me when high MR players still go into SO/ESO fully loaded with extra rank 30 gear. I can take something from 0 to 30 in less than 2 rounds if I strip out the unessentials.
Is there any difference when killing eximus units? I'm always in hydron when I'm leveling and I'm always running a single weapon. With a booster it takes me 10 waves to max out the weapon, but on occasion if I'm able to find and kill the eximus units before my teammates can, I can max out the weapon in 5 waves (it's always pretty close after 5 waves but it seems that me being the one to kill the eximus gives more XP to my weapon). This doesn't make sense though because if an ally kills the eximus it should give my weapon more XP. Also if we get attacked by a faction it sometimes does get the weapon to max, but sometimes doesn't. Yes I run with a smeeta and I realise how that would affect it, but I know for a fact that I've maxed a weapon in 5 waves with only a store affinity booster, no smeeta buff, no relay buff, and the most consistent way to do this is by being the person to kill the eximus units.
If you are MR30 you can level up frames in ESO too. You just need to Forma them once.
How does affinity work for necramech and arch weapons? 100% to Necramech? like Archwing?

at least if I start to hyper focus and end up cycling 3 mods for 45 min hey not completely lost....also sometimes the notification snaps 3m of of it. lol.
An extra affinity boosting tip - if you are using a smeeta to help you level or farm focus with a warframe and/or melee weapon then TAKE OFF YOUR GUNS. The smeeta has 6 possible buffs it can give you, one of which is a reload buff - if you have nothing equipped that can reload, it will not give you this buff, increasing your chance of getting the affinity buff. (Also works with bows as they similarly cannot reload).
Its also possible that in sanctuary the smeeta can't give you the free item buff cos there are no items (I haven't checked) which would then give you a 1 in 4 chance of getting the desired buff instead of the usual 1 in 6 🙂
For those not wanting to leech, If u swap nuke rotation with teammates every one ends up happy.
I usually use volt since it takes a few seconds for enemies to die n allies can deal finishing blows
don't tell people! now the saryns in ESO might stop nuking because they realize 0% of the affinity from their kills is being channeled to to their weapons!!
I see mirage, equinox or now Dante more often than saryn in eso

Hi, i really enjoyed this clip, from mr1 to mr15, it was smooth sailing, but as im at mr16, suddenly the exp im getting from the multiple warframes and weapons ive maxed seems like its so small, i barely see any increase in my exp bar, hence why im saying its stuck.

How does affinity acquisition for Archguns in atmosphere mode work?
when you open a chest and get affinity where does this go? I'm guessing it follows the first rule. And how do affinity boosters work, if all members of a group have a booster is it shared (saw a video about that)? Next, let's say Nova Mirage Saryn and Wisp kill enemies through shared damage how does that work?

Just wanna ask is 747 still meta after thrax changes on status effects, or 177 is seeing a revival for endurance runs.
I think the min/maxers run 757 as Propa alt-fire is really good for grouped Thraxes at higher levels due to the riccochet effect of the projectile.

I have a question about that.
The sanctuary gives you Affinity to the focus school that you're using on your Operator at the moment or is it to the lenses you're using?
It only depend of the lens. When you get affinity, in any mission, if the weapon or warframe you use has a Focus lens, the affinity will be converted into the corresponding school focus of the lens you put, the warframe has mudarai lens: you will get mudarai focus from it, your gun has another one: you will get this another one school focus.
But how does it work exactly when i consume xp with a revive?
That explains why i get so much from high level endless missions. About 2/3 through my ass starts getting carried 😂

In my opinion, best way to upgrade weapons, is ESO with friend. But for warframes, it isn't silent leveling. It's siting on steel path survival, with coprus or infested(Survival on jupiter is my favorite one) and with your on call crew. Yes maybe it will be hard to get them for newbies. But you need only one regular crewmate, with max combat, and weapon like kuva zarr or kuva ogris. (I think that kuva ogris is best option, because of napalm). On call crewmate has insane fire rate and damage, so he nukes everything on map, and all of this affinity goes only for warframe.
Silent method isn't so consistent for me. I need x2 affinity booster and blessing, to always upgrade warframe from 0 to 30 in one run. And with on call crew method, i can upgrade warframe from 0 to 30 in five minutes every time, without booster, only with blessing.
I hope it will be useful for someone. Because personaly for me, it is best way to upgrade warframes.
Getting some exp on my Amp by staying as operator on hydron sedna and killing enemies with saryn spores showed me that exp wasn't shared equally

3 lvl0 weapons and a lvl 0 weapon 3-4 rounds on hydron 1 run you csn get them maxed i do it all the time with an affinty booster
Guess I’m weird, I just nuke ESO with vault with three new weapons, aff booster and smeeta ofc, 2-3 rounds is always enough so it only takes a few minutes. If I need to level a Warframe I play them on hydron, 2 maybe 3 three rotations and I’m done. I know that’s slower but I’ll almost always end up with a few relics too

I'm confused about one thing, i assumed if your weapons or warfrane was already levelled up all xp would go to the unlevelled weapon, providing you just used that weapon but this seems like its false so ideally you take a lv 30 frame and remove all other equipment? Kind of annoying if I feel I need to fall back to a stronger weapon for a moment.

No you just don't gain affinity while you're dead, you don't lose affinity on revive. You only lose affinity on Host Migration.

i have 1 prime (trinity with spectata prime syndana) a kubrow and a deth-cube as well as 13 other normal frames and ive just return after a long break i have yet to finish the void fissures but will get an opticor vandal after i kill 10 more guys at minute im using war mellee, opticor, and a kitgun but i wish i could give my account to a player that knows what they are doing to undo any mistakes i have done, can anyone take a look and sort it out for me? is there any way to do this?

Just noticed a mistake you don’t have to be MR 30 for ESO. The Warframe you use has to be a rank 30 (max) lvl frame that’s only requirement. I can do ESO being low MR.

honestly i just put on weapons that need to be leveled and run netracells, high enemy level and all teamates are near each other so u get affinty 3 bonus and im pretty sure any kills they get give u some xp to all weapons

@@Lysergicme no i dont, i still run my khora prime with 95% Cc (95% on whipclaw i mean) and 8x Cd magistar and fire blast for armour strip (i dont have pillage or tharros strike), and if i need to lvl my melee ill switch to gyre and nataruk. dont worry i do make sure i still have a way to do something, thats also why i never level warframes in netracell.. id be too weak then.
Edit: forgot to say but i also run zenurik with max wellspring so i can give me and teamates more energy.

you dont get the xp from your teammate kills if you are not in affinity range, the affinity buff gets stronger with more teammates
this is the most common mistake i see in SO/ESO
Me aborting a mission or failing entirely doesn't net me much if any exp at all.. i might see what feels like either a 10th of the affinity gained or a 100th of the total earned

Then I would really make you sob. I have all but two frames, 100 plus weapons and the only affinity boosters I have gotten were ones given to me by the game. Hell I did around 215 nodes back when I started in 2017 on solo. Even farming prime stuff. I finally got convinced to come online and wow that made farming prime parts so much better. But I still play mostly solo. But I take most games at my age at a slow pace anyway. I ain't got the reflects I did when I was younger.
I just don't care, the weapons/frames will level up themselves eventually as i only use unleved gear (unless im doing steel path/archon/labs) 😂
You don't have to be mr30 to do eso, im mr29 and still able to do it
No, you actually should feel bad for leeching without prior agreement.
Another option once your MR reaches ~20, you can consider Selkie, Sedna on Steel Path for affinity farming.
If you're just pumping mastery fodder to pad out your mastery rank, standard ESO will still be superior.
But, if youre confident in your ability to kill SP-level Grineer with 40-50 mod capacity as you're forma'ing gear...you wont regret it.
Without an affinity booster, I clock in at either 15-minutes for 0-30 as a warframe, and 10-ish for firearms, and 8-minutes for melees with Naramon.
This is usually how I hit 6-8 forma resets in under 2 hours, and even serves as a decent way to not only test out your arsenal against SP-level enemies, but you can get a healthy source of Steel Essense to spend on anything you want.
This is all tested without a booster, with Prime Access or an Affinity + Resource boosters...things start to go off the rails as you 0-30 in 5 minutes, walk out with a rotation a relic, 4 Steel Essence, and around 2-4 Riven Slivers for every forma you invest. Pretty good return on your resources and time imo!
Edit: Forgot to mention, this is doable on NSW; BUT, be warned that not only are the loading screens longer, your switch will run HOT. In the short term this isnt a problem, but I started noticing dead pixels starting at the 2k hour mark, and an substantial amount at 4k hours from heat related damage to the hardware, requiring a full screen replacement which is a massive hassle.
