    Evidences :
    1) used in all the hadiths that refers to the Greatest name of Allah.
    2) Most mentioned in the Quran ( 2602)
    3) All the other names are within Allah, and they are descriptive of Allah
    4) No one has the audacity to call himself Allah
    5) Allah Himself told us to call ourselves Aa'bdullah or Aabdurrahman
    6) When calling Allah, you dont have to drop the Al ( The)
    7) With it, you declare the declaration of fatih "La Ilah Illallah"

+Mohammad SAyf Ibn Zaman you write
"1) used in all the hadiths that refers to the Greatest name of Allah."
Really, "ALL" of the hadiths? are you serious, then produce ALL of the hadiths that mention the Greatest Name
      So explain:
      1) Why the ambiguity and why is there only a "majority" and not a unanimous conclusive agreement that the word Allah is deisgnated as the Greates Name of Allah? Why are the scholars are not in agreement and why Maisam ibn Yahyā al-Tammār in disagreement proposing the phrase 'Al Hayyu Al Qayyum' as Allah's Greates Name
The speaker says, "In all the hadiths that mention the greatest name, the only name that is mentioned in all of the Hadiths is Allah or Allahuma."
Then why 'Al Hayyu Al Qayyum' is proposed to include others that this speaker have conveniently forgot to mention?
If ye are truthful then produce you hadiths ALL OF THEM and let us with you see if truth or falsehood is being propagated here by the speaker thus misleading the umma in misrepresenting the Greatest Name Hadiths

      +Jack Jill Peace,
I am the speaker and would like to let you know that our scholars do not handle this type of differing (Difference of Variety) in the manner you are unknowingly pursuing. There is one type of differing where your attitude fits best which s the differing of Contradiction. The Difference of opinion with respect to the greatest name of Allah is a difference of Variety Not a difference of Contradiction.. Take it easy man Smile .. Imam Karim AbuZaid

+Karim AbuZaid Peace to you young man
Thanks for your reply and I will endavour to internalise your considered response.
Moreover, I wonder if I can be pertinent as to engage you to answer some of my long held concerns regarding Islam, to which I have yet to get convincing answers (not of lack of trying) to some hard hitting questions.

      +Karim AbuZaid Jazakallahkhairun
But before I burden you with my concerns, I will humbly ask that we reflect on the Greatest Name.
      You assert that:
When debated the evidence and the proofs to establish the Greatest Name is designated in the word Allah
      1) The word Allah or its derivative Allahuma is used without exception in ALL the hadiths that refers to the Greatest name of Allah.
Then, I respectfully ask you to point me to ALL of the Hadiths, every single one that eludes to the Greatest Name, so that I may concur with your conclusion.
In the meant time I respectfully ask that you consider the following:
*_Asma' Bint Yazid_*, may Allah be pleased with her, related that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
“The greatest name of Allah is in these two verses:
“Your God is One God; there is no God save Him, the Beneficent, the Merciful.” (Al-Baqarah: 163)
And the opening verse of Surat Al `Imran:
“Alif. Lam. Mim. Allah! There is no God save Him, the Alive, the Eternal.” (Al `Imran: 1-2)”
      (Reported by Ahmed, Abu-Dawud, At-Tirmidhi and Ibn-Majah)
If we consider this Hadith then we would expect the Greatest Name to be present in BOTH ayat, that is the same word in each ayah, hence why else would both ayat be listed.
Alas, given the above, the word Allah is mentioned in Al-Imran but not in Al-Baqarah, thus *_we cannot conclude that the word Allah is the Greatest Name of Allah_*.
The word common to both ayat are ilah. (translated as God) and Hu (translated as Him)
May we READ/Iqra in the one true name to be guided to the one true path to worship the one true al-ilah.
If you do not know the name you do not know the named.
