impressive that you got your "yeah" loop to be right on time with losing it. my 12 year old gear is bad at getting those loops properly so when i try this transition i just set up a hotcue at the beginning of "yeah" and manually loop it. allows you to add your own flavor to the effect and whatnot. although you gotta spam the hotcue really fuckin fast towards the end of the buildup 😂

As said before me. Go to your rekordbox settings, and adjust vinyl break (as deffault, its set to instant pause, give it a 3 seconds time). You can also try switching your fx pads on the controller. At "pad fx" mode there is a vinyl break effect. But the real thing is doing some setup in the settings menu
I tried this but the one more time loop is getting drowned out when I start playing losing it, even though the loop is on full volume. Any tips? Also any tips on that volume fader trick bc I can’t get it to work. This was amazing nice job.
Turn up the trim for the deck one more time is on, and the way I do the fader trick is really strange but it works for me. I have to be able to put my front foot underneath the decks (under the table etc) and then lean back a little bit and flick my wrist to turn the volume from off to max and repeat that. But the way james hype does it is by resting his thumb on the bottom of the fader so it’s maxed and then hammering his finger on the top of the fader to flick it on and off, but the faders on my decks are really stiff so that doesn’t work for me, also when i’ve played on my mates CDJ’s the volume faders have ALMOST no resistance similar to the crossfader which makes it a bit easier. You could also try doing the actual technique on the crossfader but because it’s horizontal it’s a bit more awkward to do. If you want to have a look at my version of it check my ig @skengmasterjack. a bit hard to see because of my lights but you should be able to get an idea of how similar it sounds.
So many trying to copy this transition of James Hype, ive seen countless so far on yt, but this was far the BEST ONE. Congrats

Check your headroom settings, probably limiter is kicking on.
