I'm genuinely impressed with this new smartwatch! Although it looks tough, this rugged smartwatch is very comfortable to wear. It has an AMOLED display, touch screen, Water-Resistant, Heart rate monitor, Blood Oxigen saturation measurement, Sleep monitor, and call notifications (iMessage, WHATSAPP, AND SMS NOTIFICATIONS NOT WORKING ATM ACCORDING TO MY EXPERIENCE).

Can u connect an polar heartrate breast belt to it?
Thank you for the detailed review. Can you possibly show the Altimeter readings without mobile signal and wifi. Does altimeter, barometer and compass work without mobile or any wifi signal. Will I get altitude readings in high mountain areas where there are no mobile signals?

I just tried to disconnect everything from the watch and it still works. According to the instructions it uses the internal barometric sensor.
There is also a manual or gps based altimeter calibration :)

There are glass protectors on Amazon. Very cheap. And yes. The alarm is silent.

I have one - agree with all your comments. A watch like this REALLY needs an actual temperature sensor. It is too bad some bright spark could not figure out how to use something on board the circuitry already to do this.
Looks like a great watch but I ended up getting a Fenix 7. This one looks really nice though.

very well explained, but lacked explanation regarding the GPX Track, in T-Rex 1 we couldn't follow tracks through a GPX, is this possible? it was a pity we didn't talk more about it, that's really what we wanted to see new in this religion.

Im responding very late but how it works is, on the trex 2, u cannot see a map or smth, this map is shown in the app. The only thing u see on the watch is the route that u imported from your phone, and where u are on that route.

I have this watch and when you swipe down on the screen it shows all the watch controls and the top there’s a little phone picture on it. When it’s connected it shows blue with a check and when it’s disconnected it shows a red phone. @3:38 you can see it.

It looks to Tic the boxes I want my smartwatch to have. I just want to know one thing that you didn't cover in here.
Can this watch have three way connection ? Like between the watch, wireless earphones and the phone so that it can be used to control PLAY PAUSE FORWARD music control in the phone while listening music on the TWS? Same with phone calls. I just want the call notifications to see who is calling. No need to have facility to call from the watch. I am looking for this feature in my smartwatch as well as good battery performance and can't seem to find a watch having both.
Please let me know can this watch do it ?

So, soon as you pair it with your phone, you can control the music on the watch, as the music source is the phone, if that makes sense. The phone will be paired with both watch and wireless headphones, so the phone will be the main source of everything. On the watch you'll be able to control the music (volume, play pause, next and previous song) and control / reject the calls as it is paired with your phone.
I just tested it and it works, at least on the ios
i am using huawei gt2 for 40 months. Still getting good battery life and everything is fine as just like new one. is it wise upgrading to t-rex 2??
I’m using the T-Rex 2 almost every day since I got it. It’s probably one of the favourite smartwatches but I think if you happy with the Gt2, keep using it until there’s more than a reason to change it :)
I wish it was phone call and notification and reply. It looks great but missing out on this is a let down
Bro are there any smart watches that has seconds needle running throughout while on Always on Display?
Not sure tbh. I’ve tried a lot of styles on 2 amazfit models and none show the seconds hand. I’d say this is 100% for battery saving and the screen don’t need refreshing everything second

Did you find the heart rate to be accurate?
Although this watch shouldn’t be used as a medical device, I found the hearth rate not too far off.
Newest fw release allows you to add external sensors (like cycling ones or HRM), overall great watch.
Is it better than galaxy series in term of accuracy ?

You can make short text . That are pre set. Phone calls it will notify you on a call coming in. The thing is a smart watch that can go to a depth of over 300 feet you dont want a microphone or speaker.

How long does your battery last?
Depends on the use. Amazfit says 24 days with normal use. Currently I'm on 62% and I charged 10 days ago.

@@jerryx2000 I have the Heart rate monitor always on (every 30minutes), sleep monitor on, sleep breathing, stress and blood oxygen on. I don't have the always on display on as I find this watch has a good wrist sensor when you wanna have a look at the time.
Hi ! Just bought the watch yesterday and had the first problem: during shower, when the water from the shower head hit the screen, the watch act like if it a finger and start swipe left, right, up and down by itself. Quite weird ! Anyone have the same problem? Thanks
It's a common problem imo.. my amazfit GTR act the same way
You can lock the screen to prevent it from being activated by the water in the shower.

My favorite Dayli watch, I have 12 G-shocks and 2 Galaxy, but I love the battery of this watch; I honestly don't know when was the last time I charged it. hands down best watch ever.
I still use mine, swapping with the Apple watch Series 9 from time to time. For sleep tracking the T-Rex 2 is SO MUCH better than the apple watch. And lets not talk about the battery, the Apple watch is a joke in comparison to the T-Rex 2. As I'm typing this, my T-rex 2 was charged 28 days ago and it has 37% battery!!! I know it had very little use, basically just for sleep tracking, but still, it is very impressive!
In MM how big is the case? 50? 55? 59? Or smaller???
Navigation option is available ?
As a normal GPS navigation, no. The device will track your exercise location tho. It will let you know where you have been during an exercise, and it works quite well.

my battery died in just 24 hours after a full 100% charge. It is just 10day old watch. Do you see any reasons. My activity is just normal.
That’s not normal. I’ve got a lot of monitors always on on mine as it’s like 5 to 7% battery lost per day

You can do it in the Zepp app. Go the Profile at the bottom, select your watch, Watch settings, and then Watch System Language. Hope this helps

This watch monitoring is not accurate at all and the battery is weak. I have return it and bought Honor Magic Watch 2 that has much better features accurate results and battery life.

I bought an amazfit t rex 2 watch. The biggest disappointment ever! By open see swimming, nothing works probably. The distance (even if I swim at the same spot, after 3 minutes it shows 500 m) and heart rate (by swimming slow it shows a heart rate over 180, while my old Garmin shows 107) ! I informed Amazfit! And the company doesn’t care solving the problem! People stay away from it!

I think reliability is more important than validity when it comes to wearables and tech in general for your health; how can you know if you're actually getting fitter if it cannot test what it says it can reliably?! Accuracy is just a bonus.
If you swim in the same spot your arms are still moving why its probably recording distance from that not the gps
