Bandipur National Park and Tiger Reserve
Bandipur National Park is one of the 9 tiger reserves in India. It's located about 80KM from city of Mysore in state of Karnataka.
From Bangalore the distance is about 215KM and takes about 4hours to drive.
We stayed at the Bandipur Safari Lodge by Jungle lodges and resorts which is one of the resorts operated by government of Karnataka in Bandipur. They believe in providing the best possible experience with the nature for tourist. They usually operate with small number of rooms and believe in staying close to nature.
Bandipur Safari Lodge operated by Jungle lodges need to be booked priorly through their website (www.junglelodges.com)
They are also licensed by the forest department to operate safari's in the reserve forests.
Following are included as part of the package:
1. 3 meals - Lunch, dinner and breakfast
2. Evening and Morning Safari on Campers (8 seater)
3. Campfire, snack and a movie show about Bandipur wildlife sanctuary
Timings:
Room checkin - 1:00 PM and Checkput - 10:30 AM
Evening Safari 3.30 p.m to 5.30 p.m
Morning Safari 6.30 a.m to 9.00 a.m

Hi I booked it through JLR website.. Food, jeep safari and stay are all included as part of the package..

One small question that if we are staying in JLR then we no need to book online safari right? I mean i can see in online booking there is an option to book by choosing bus/jeep

If you are staying in JLR you will be taken in jeep.. cost of their booking includes safari as well..
so no need to book separately..
