Just amazing all the different tonal qualities Lee can produce on the gtr. He is the master. I wish I could see him live sometime.
Test
Show him live 2 nights ago performing Etude (among others) with Dave Grusin and it was magical
Vibin' with Lee always drops my BP
One of many favourites of mine.I have been a fan since the 1970s. Thanks Lee. wow!
I was just reading a piece about Randy rhoads. His tutor taught him this song. This was the inspiration of the beginning of the song diary of a madman. Randy was also an amazing classical guitarist. Every city he tore that he would always take classical lessons between concerts.
As always, the clean sound of RIT, generously sharing the stage with his associates.
I could listen to this over and over. Awesome!
That drummer really knows how to dial in the cymbals.
👍Gary Novak’s a BEAST!!!
I use this DVD to test high-end headphones, it is so exquisitely produced it's almost like being there all those decades ago.
love this song! so intense.
OH MY GOD I'M GOING TO SEE LEE RITENOUR AND DAVE GRUSIN IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS IN ROTTERDAM!!! so excited:)
This one of my favorite pieces Lee has composed. I think he took some of the vibe and sweetness or Earl Klugh and expanded on it. I love it and great job on this Lee,
I hadn't thought of it that way, but I see what you mean. Love this song soooo much as well!
Yes it is one of his best tunes and solo guitar is a bit of an acid test. Check out Michael Hedges as he was in a class by himself and I have learned a lot from hi,.
Steve
Yeah you can really hear Earl Klugh vibes ❤️
this is probably one of the first videos i have seen that hasnt been disliked... i wonder why....
These guys are awesome!!! God bless there talent.
Thanks Lee..
Funny how these days, that amount of people will only turn up just to watch a dude playing and switching songs off his laptop
Grandi❤
Sound like Bali Run from fourplay
Happy Birthday 11 Jan, Mr Guitar! Keep your guitar singing!!

RIT! Pure Class!
Simply Awesome!
Hi ! Simply GREAT ! Lee Ritenour is one of my top 3 of the best guitarists that I listen. It engages just myself, but I've "that I prefer", so I can choose whoever I want. ...I'm gonna learn this song, cause I got the partition, but I've been too lazy to learn it, like it is not a tab or a songbook, but a real partition. By chance, I've started music by classical piano, so I know the Solfege. It doesn't seem to be easy, so I don't know how many time it will take me to play it as it must. BYE !
Credits to the bassist to!
This is a perfect dueling guitars song.

There is. Lee plays a medley of some of his hit tunes to begin with but "Etude" starts at around 1.40 and the studio version can be found on his 1989 "Color RIT" CD.
Thank You, Love Me Some Rit. RIP Carlos Vega, You left us way too soon.
You're most welcome. I had no idea Carlos Vega had passed. May he rest in peace indeed.

Great song, great players but the way Lee make a face while he's playing is really annoying and stupid looking. And how he dances.... oh, my dear lord, wipe that sight out of my eyes.
Borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring. OMG!
