He will be rewarded for his patience and willingness to remain faithful to the Sabres next season, barring disastrous injuries, their lineup is playoffs worthy now, except between the pipes, if they had a real 1A goaltender this entire season, they likely would be making the playoffs, although they aren't mathematically out just yet. Thompson and Dahlin being injured and not as good as last year when playing (so far anyway) has hurt em too. It's less frustrating of a situation than with the Pens this year, where their 1A goalie, Jarry has either been incredible (6 shutouts) and has stolen games, or earlier in the season when successful, the Pens played a style that worked for an older team, 1-2-2 (passive), whenever they tried to have their main strategy be different than this, they lost, or Jarry has let em down, seemingly still bothered by that injury from 2 seasons ago. I can see a trade between these 2 teams that could correct both problems, that's why I brought up the Pens.

The Preds were supposed to see U2 at The Sphere in Las Vegas, but after an embarrassing loss to the Stars at home, coach Brunette nixed the concert. Since that loss, the Preds have gone on to play 15-0-2, so the meme is that the Preds were so mad (or maybe relieved) about missing U2 that it caused them to go on an absolute tear.

It's pretty nuts actually. They also have one of the lowest combined salaries in the league too. Everyone's playing above their pay grade over there. As a Wings fan it was frustrating to watch them continue that streak against us. Both teams played amazing but one mistake (cough cough Jeff Petry) sealed it. They're just so consistently structured and are constantly out-working the corners and winning nearly every puck battle. Having a roster full of guys that can consistently win puck battles is incredibly valuable and they've got it.

I don't play hockey, I've never played hockey (floorball being the closest, both outside on the ice with my older brother and his friends...guess who had to be goalie btw) nor is hockey even REMOTELY big in Norway..but hell, somehow, I keep coming back for these videos. No idea why, but hey, it's interesting, even though I know NONE of the slang you use, the inside jokes like toiletbowl (I assume that's just when the worst teams meet, but who knows) and why some team is called the "U2" other than the small hint in this video about U2 cancelling a show(?) :P
Anyways, from a hockey outsider, keep em coming! And Ive said it before, the maple leafs parade being a rollercoaster is also something I'm invested in now, and I have no idea why :P

I always mention it now after I slept on Kopi's totals for awhile, look at the stats of the kings over the years. Kopi is on an island there, I wonder how many more points he would have if he had more skill to play with.
You mentioned him in the vid but Kopitar is so underrated and needs more exposure bc he’s not flashy but he makes the right play 90% of the time. The vid could even be about his line as a whole with QB and kempe. They are a high level line that can compete with anyone. But I’m a kings fan so could be biased lol

At the end of October, MacKinnon had 7 points, and McDavid had 9. By the end of November, they were tied. Mack exploded with 29 points in December, to take a 10 point lead (helped by 3 extra games). Since then, McDavid has clawed back half that lead. It has been back and forth the whole season. Kucherov has been in that dance as well. It is going to come down to the wire, barring injuries.

The Preds have blown me away this season since the U2 debacle... I think they're contenders for the cup race. Maybe not the final, but I'd love to see them make it through the first few rounds, pull an upset like Florida on Boston last year, something like that. It'd be nice to see a central team that isn't the usual top 3 (Avs, Stars, Jets) make it that far.

You should do a break down of player who had stellar seasons last year and were expected to make big jumps in points, but have failed to even get close to expectations i.e. my entire Seattle Kraken team (except the goalies).
