My controller won't sync to my Xbox 360

Yo anyone having this problem just turn off your xbox unplug the power cord on the back of the console and unplug the cord from the actual outlet, plug it back in and should work like new. Worked for me i had this problem and thought my xbox was shot.

my controller will not sync either no matter what I do. Replaced battery pack, factory resetted console, ive tried other known methods and Failed. My only guess is that my controller may actually be R.I.P even though there is no physical Damage the eye can see.

My controllers wouldn't sync either.
I got them synced by holding down the sync buttons on both the controller and the sync button on the console at the same time. There is a button on the front of the console.

Well, you can try taking out the main power cord and putting it back in to restart your xbox then try to turn your controller of. If that does not work then try pressing the sync button on your xbox and your controller at the same time. I did that a couple of times and it worked for me. But if that does not work then you should just get a new controller or go to a game shop and maybe they can fix it for you. Hope this helped and subcribe! :)

After I watched 10 to 15 videos to find a solution for the same problem that I had like in this video. I just hit the top of my Xbox with left arm quite hard. And now after that it connects without any problems. I hope it will work for the others ;)

Hi Guys. A frequent problem among Xbox users is that the controller won’t synchronize to the actual Xbox console. In this case, you can follow this guide.
1. Step Turn off your console and controller.
2. Step Turn off all devices with wireless receivers temporarily to make sure it won’t interfere with the receiver.
3. Step Turn on the console and the controller.
4. Step On the console front is a small button (hard to find on a black Xbox, but it’s there!) hold it and the status circle of the Xbox will start rotating after a few seconds.
5. Step On the top of the controller is a similar small black button, hold that as well for a few seconds.
6. Step Finally, the big X button in the middle of the controller will start rotating. Once it stops rotating a connection has been established.
If the Xbox controller will still not sync to the Xbox 360, make sure to replace your battery and disable ANY wireless receivers.
In rare cases the synchronization is really broken, but you should first try a different controller.

Here in 2023. Tried another controller and it synced. The one came with xbox doesn't connect at all is it now just broken? It's a r2d2 collector xbox took it out for a clean up and controller doesn't sync after all these years.
