Not just America that can do with hearing about this (basically from folks who have preceded in sufferings under current/past socialist orders). All of the "west" and western influenced lands worldwide appear to be facing this same challenge now.. The insidious Thing in the air producing that rather sick global centralization culture at whatever costs (ends justifying the means) seems to have arrived in this postmodern times within just about every country/nation.
By the by, the jesuit order is unrelated to Christian faith at its core. I'd think they support the very marxist socialism here purported for conservatives (who tend to identify in any/some way to traditional christian values) to stand up to 'resilient'ly in the post's discussion.

Excellent and Insightful discussion!! Around the 54 minute mark, there are comments about the importance of the middle class in stabilizing a society like ours. A predominant middle class was one of a handful of necessities that were required to keep a nation self governing. Some of the others were: a literate and educated populace; a nation of people who were basically law-abiding by being voluntarily compliant ( as opposed to those in a heavily policed state ). I don't recall the other requirements, but it seems as though the devil is doing well at undercutting all of those necessities in our nation, and is effectively destroying America from within.

At 39 minutes, Albert challenges Rod's position a bit because many of the woke Americans are not actually poor (as during the Bolshevik revoltuion) but middle class. So Albert asks why are they falling for communism/soft totalinarianism. Today, due to two generations of young people learning intersectionalism/identity politics in the universities, much of our younger middle class "believes" they are victims, whether that is true in reality or not. The elites taught everyone to believe the captalistic white man has subjugated them, robbed them of property, justice and freedom. As a result if the masses will just follow the intellectual elites in this holy revolution against their oppressors and those traditional institutions, then utopia can be achieved here below.

Also, Dreher explained in another video that advocating socialism:
      1-eases their guilt (whiteness, wealth)
2-gives a sense of meaning and purpose
      3-replaces religion
I’d add that most blue voters believe socialism means everyone will
      a) get more and
      b) *someone else* will pay for it.
I’ve also noticed that blue voters tend to focus on superficiality:
-Dems make same promises decade after decade and when they don’t deliver, they get away with blaming Republicans.
-race and gender/sex are paramount over qualifications and track record
-90% of criticism toward Trump was on his hair, spray tan, and tweeting (they couldn’t bring up the opportunity zones, HBCU funding, First Step Act, Middle East peace deals, etc without publicizing his accomplishments. A staunch lib friend hates him so much she claims socialism is a small price to pay for not having to hear about his tweets anymore. SMH
-many accept media unquestioningly. If you ask them about killing the XL pipeline, they think it’s good and haven’t considered we still need oil for certain products and will now be transporting it via road n rail and buying it from other countries - not to mention the jobs lost. They hear what they want to hear and go on with their day.

One can easily see the eventual "Balkanization" of America...and that may not be the worst eventuality and may even be a necessity for our survival. The New Testament is a continuation of The Old Testament. The Church for the most part was One until the split in 1054 between Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism. Approximately 500 years later Protestants split from the Roman Catholics and ever since have been splitting amongst themselves. As an Eastern Orthodox communicant I believe although Christians are divided that the The Holy Spirit does dwell with all who believe in God in Three Persons , Father, Son and Holy Spirit. For Christ Himself said "...where two or more are gathered in My Name there am I also." So if you are a Christian you have a choice to attend a Christian Community wherein God speaks most clearly to you. For me, who was raised a Southern Baptist and converted to Catholicism in my youth, that Christian Community is Eastern Orthodoxy. For you it is obviously something else. But we should practice charity with one another at all times.

Wait a minute Dr. Mohler and Mr. Dreher. We have all kinds of shopping malls that are almost non-functional due to Online shopping right to your doorstep. Those areas could be quickly used as areas to stuff people in for retraining. They have those types of retraining centers in China. The type of Christianity here in the U.S., is water to the ankles and not water to swim in. It is Laodicia lukewarm so they will go with the flow because most of them are carnal, worldly and barely saved if that. We have too much half baked believers and a lack of conviction and deep repentance. They know little to nothing of the terms contrition, brokenness and consecration or travailing prayer in experience. What about self-denial and taking up your cross and following Christ no matter what comes or goes; even death? All through the Old Testament there were always a remnant and that is what we have here, only a small remnant who are sold out completely to God.
