Joe Buck’s World Series Game 1 Intros

- Earlier this week, Joe Buck tied his former broadcasting partner Tim McCarver for the most World Series called at 24. Here’s every Joe Buck World Series Game 1 Intro except for 2015 (111th Fall Classic) and 2018 (114th Fall Classic). Those two instances are the first words he says doing the game broadcast. Enjoy going down memory lane of the MLB on FOX presentation and how Buck and McCarver went from calling their first World Series together in 1996 and final in 2013 for a record 16 Fall Classics in the booth together.
Legend has it Tim McCarver is still coming right up.
No matter who's calling it, that theme can only give you good vibes when you hear it (the baseball one, not the football one)
Amen to that
The football one is better
@@frankbergin5620 no its not baseball is way better
tell me you're a biased jets fan without telling me you're a biased jets fan
also the jets suck
Yes and don’t overlook Jochen Flasch’s epic All-Star/World Series theme used from 2007-09
Facts!!
RIP Tim McCarver
I really miss Joe Buck broadcasting baseball and World Series 1996-2021. 😫😩😢
Joe Buck did not broadcast in 2022 World Series it’s Joe Davis
Although I hate joe buck and is rather boring the world series is simply not the same without him his voice is Synonymous with the ws
I’m surprised he doesn’t do Sunday Night Baseball since he’s with ESPN now.
1:11 pretty cool how Bob Brenley coached the Diamondbacks in the next World Series
And almost immediately went back to the booth when his ancient team croaked lol
The early 2000’s Chevy intro was S-Tier
Wait a second, that was it for the 15 series😂😂😂😂😂
Legend edit thanks!
I guess an underrated pairing but I loved Smoltz in the booth with Buck too.
The 2020 intro threw me off with Globe Life field.
Thought for a moment it was the Rangers XD
People hate on Joe Buck but the blame falls squarely on the NFL on FOX theme for MLB all those years
So FOX must have no concept of time in 2015 and 2018 😊

As a male opera singer, I'm always curious how a voice changes after adulthood. This is an interesting video, as Buck was just 27 in 1996, and he sounds young too. His pitch seems to drop to its lowest around 2008-2009, where he would've been 39/40 -- that's pretty typical. Buck's voice thins out quite a bit in the following decade, but I wonder how much of that is attributed to his hair plug crisis in 2011.
Joe buck was the best though
Not even you no one can find the 2015 one
It was a blackout on their network
JOE BUCK IS THE MF GOAT FIGHT ME
Why did Joe’s voice sound so different in 2011??
A lot of people don’t know but his vocal chords were injured that year
Which is why a lot of people say he sounds bored
@@texascardtrue.
And after that he got 100% better overall.
You can question him pre 2011, after that he really stepped his game up
Is Fox's contract with MLB ever going to run out?
I hope it does but according to the current broadcast agreement, the World Series will be televised by Fox through 2028.
@@jackbutler6769 I like Buck but do feel he talks way too much. I just imagine all these play by play guys are selfish pricks off camera. I picture Buck off mic saying to his co worker "listen, you can say a few facts and words here and there but this is MY show. When there is a big play, I talk! When there is a homerun, I talk!"
LOL John Smoltz cant even announce his own name, Joe Buck does it after he says "I'm Joe Buck". LOL!
@@myothercarisadelorean8957 I totally agree with you.
@@jackbutler6769 Doc Emerick for hockey on NBC was the same. He actually just retired but before he would not STFU!!! Too much over talking, a lot of dumb facts mentioned about hockey and he always yelled in the mic.
Did they use the NFL theme 2019
They used the NFL FOX theme 2010-2019 then back to the MLB FOX theme 2020
Everyone knows the world series was the red sox and yankees in 2004.
Low key can’t stand Joe Davis. Joe buck was low key really good
This is pretty sad, at the beginning the World Series is one of the events of the year and the intros are like pieces of history, by the end baseball is a regional sport irrelevant on a national level…
RIP Tim McCarver
