Oh my-so many hater comments without, I’m sure, them even trying the game. I’m a 74 year old female and play 3 to 4 times a week . It’s a great workout, you meet new friends. Try it before you knock it. You’ll be surprised!

i hate this camera angle, theres no reason we should be staring at their backs during play. makes it hard to tell whats going on
table tennis is more action and interesting to me tbh, it's so slow.
still trying to understand the rules of the game. can one hit over hand? tot the rules said one can only hit below the waist?
Except for the serve, which must effectively be underhand (it's complicated), you can do anything you like but hit a volley if you step into the paint (kitchen) before, during, or after the shot.

Pro tennis players have tried to go pro in pickleball. Most don't get as far as they did in tennis though.

I do not hate. I'm a pretty good badminton player but I still enjoy watching tennis. I just don't see any more attractive points than the other 3 subjects to attract players.

@@INDOMINIONlol, what I thought for a long long time. I’m a 4.5 tennis player and 35 years ago played at the college level. Pickleball looked like a joke to me, BUT, after knee, shoulder, ankle, and neck injuries, my tennis days are over. So, I tried this and ended up really liking it. Do I like it more than tennis? No, tennis is tennis. However, this game gives me a workout in the thighs, hand eye coordination and quickness, and you have to move your feet to avoid lunging too much and popping up the ball. But I agree, compared to watching or playing tennis, it’s small ball. Women play a faster game which I like. 😊

lol i wanted to start playing tennis but its way hard to find new people willing to play with me and inter to high wont even play let alone teach without wanting to charge me an arm and a leg to teach me. crazy how snobby you guys are. I can however find pickleball games all day long at the courts and even high level players will play with me and teach me for free so all you tennis players really can kick rocks. If tennis is so good why are the courts empty and why are the players total d bags lol

In that there's paddles and a ball that goes back and forth - but that's where the similarities end (unless you're really generalizing) ;-)
It’s much closer to giant ping pong than it is to mini tennis.
Ping pong ball can be smashed with extreme spin and speed while it seems pickleball rules and ball limits the player's power.

We agree that sometimes players get stuck in a rut and immediately hit the ball back to the opponent. Better players do not do this as often and use the sharp angle or speed up to catch their opponent off guard. Sometimes the cooperation happens to slow down and reset the game and wait for the unforced error by the opponent. See next comment for a video about this ⤵️
