When I was a kid we used to do this. Never would've thought that I'd do it again as an adult.
Thank you, and so nice to have found you. I have just been told we are expecting our fifth grandson (already have three sons)....no girls in the family at all, and a grandmother who is a "maker", so I have been looking for a craft that I can do with my grandsons. Maybe I will get to knit with a grand daughter one day, but for now I am happy to learn everything I can for my grandsons.
Boys have hands too, maybe they'd like to knit. If the point is to do a craft with you, I don't see why they wouldn't want to do one that seems to be meaningful to you.
