Manitowoc Minute host, Charlie Berens is back with another episode of Scrap wood masterpieces, building a DIY Cribbage board for his Dad as a last minute gift. Eventually Charlie's Dad checks in to see how it's coming along when he points out the drill press was never even plugged in. Charlie gets sent to his bucket and thinks about whether or not he should have just bought him a PS5 for Christmas. - Komedie
Loving the sister giving you that smirk as she pulls down the handle of the drill press like "that's right, dad's letting me do this and you're on the bucket, loser". đ
Watching I couldn't help but feel jealous. Last time I used a drill press as about fifteen years ago. Wait...nineteen? I'll settle for eighteen.
"Charlie! Shut up!" I think is one of every Dad's most used lines!
It was and still is for my dad. Which is weird because my name isn't Charlie.
I really like Charlie's Dad, he's awesome.
I wish he would have made him hold a flashlight for some reason.
Should have told him to get a 10 mm
Man, are you trying to make me relive my childhood?
â€
I have PTSD from holding flashlights for my dad. Lol
"Dad, shouldn't Charlie be on the bucket"? LOLOLOL LOVED THIS VIDEO.
âFraction of the cost of a PS5, and a fraction of the fun, too.â đ€Ł
"Kids are expensive; I could have had a home up nort."
This made me laugh out loud. Hey, Charlie, tell your dad I says hi!
@@SarahRenz59 Yup. Keep her movin, Dr Berens.
As a Wisconsin kid I couldn't stop laughing at this!!!!
Charlie needs to make that into a t-shirt
I had to stop the video.. was laughing too hard!!!! LOVE THIS!!! LOL
â Charlie, this is my show now.â đ€Ł
My dad passed away 3 years ago and this made me laugh til I cried. Thanks there bud.
Kids are expensive. I coulda had a home up nort.
I choked on my coffee when he said that. đ
I'll be waitin' for the Charlie's Dad woodshop show, der guy!
I bet Charlie's Dads show will actually be funny..... HEY Charlie tell your folks I says hi keeper move on the way to your bucket budy and F the packers
Yes. Heâs better looking too. Shhh sorry Charlie.
Me too!
Your dads hilarious!
Your sisters look she gave you- priceless!!! And your dad was hilarious!
When I was a kid, I'd watch my dad and grandpa play these epic cribbage games. For the uninitiated, cribbage makes NO effing sense whatsoever. But it was fun watching them play.
I love Charlie and his dad and his mom and I'm pretty sure, his whole goshdarn familyâŁïž. Truly. "No, don't zoom in."đ
Your dad has a pretty nice looking shop. Glad he keeps the riff raff on the bucket.
Glad to know I wasn't the only one with a bucket.
You got a bucket? All I got was the garage floor......
I got, "Hold the flashlight."
@@jmass8699 same here.
We've all had A Seat of Shame. Mine was a three legged stool.
those buckets hurt too once youve sat on em for an hour lol
"Kids are expensive i could've had a home up north." Dad statement of the year
I love cribbage.
"I'm in a zone." KILLED ME.
I found this after I just bought a cribbage board and personalized it in honor of my dad. I may look into making my own after seeing this. Thanks for the idea and the entertainment, Charlie. Keep 'er movin', bud.
Gotta love that dad was not having no one taking over his work area :). Charlie you are Wisconsin royalty and Air Force vet friends who are spread across the nation are all subscribed and love your content. :)
This hits to close to home...
Your dad is a legend.
Ah yes. The Queens Cribbage Board. A cinematic masterpiece.
Ahhh, youâre pops is just like mine..
âKids are expensive and I could of had a lake homeâ
đ»
Fantastic and funny! Your dad and sister are a hoot. Worth watching!
Love your dad
This is da masterpiece. Or at least a piece. Greetings to Dr. Berens!
OMG more dad!! Love it, love your vids Charlie!
Tell your folks i says hi! And merry Christmas
This is probably my favorite videos of yours. I have shared it multiple times and I think I am my 10th time watching it and I still laugh just like it's the first time. Keep em' coming Charlie.
This reminds me of a ânote to selfâ... circa â08...
When using your flipped over canoe as a makeshift workbench donât also use it as a platform for drilling your cribbage board der real quick once đ
Please make this a series!
The Doctor's in. We need to see more of this man! â€
Lil late to the party, but your dad is like a replica of mine...it's scary. My favorite part beyond my favorite quote (see below) is that he took over what you were doing perfectly fine to do it better. First just to show you and then he takes over....priceless. :D
LOVE Dad!
A sneaky Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory reference there with Charlie's bucket. Very nice.
The bucket slayed me. I love your dad.
Your Dads show now,LOLOLOLOLOLOL
Funniest video yet, Charlie! Love your dad! Tell him I says hi!
Love your Dad!
First game my grandfather taught me! Still love the game and it keeps the mind sharp!!!!
Sit on the bucket or cribbage?
"This is my show now Charlie"
Oh this oneâs going to the family zoom meeting on Christmas. We love us some cribbage.... very intensely đ
Aw I actually felt sad for Charlie in this one.
Your Dad needs to be in more videos!
Dr. Berens is awesome! Maybe he could do some videos on how to raise kids. Charlie could be his example of what happens if you screw up. (Just kidding Charlie !)
I can hear him, "Charlie's our second son. We had two more as penance; we're Catholic." Kidding Charlie. You're a Midwest treasure.
We need more of these episodes, my favorite so far
"look at me, this is my show now"
Lol the last time I was back home the big talk around town was the new Fleet Farm
Have a great holiday Charlie!
"Just keeper moving" -americans
"Keep your stick on the ice" -canadians
Never heard this Canadian saying, but I like it
Like Red Green would say.
Howie Meeker used to say "Keep your stick on the ice" after each episode of his tv show. Red Green used that same quote to end each episode of his show. The quote is very Canadian, eh.
I just realized this is the American red green show
I'm a man
I can change
If I have to
I guess
I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when all 12 kids were smaller..all living at home.. and how everything was run..đ
This was by far the best video iv watched this week
I love the Queens Cribbage Board
I have nothing to say besides your videos are hilarious and keep it up!
Best Christmas video
Dammit charlie, get on the bucket. Because of you he doesn't have a home up north
Thanks Charlie, good stuff bud.
I like his dad reminds me of my dad
Your dad is hilarious!! Comedy gold, Charlie!!!
Your best vid yet man!
Omg I love your dad
I like the figure on the grain of the wood.
This guy made my whole day
I love this so much
How dare you disturb Dad while he's in the zone?
This was great, and your family are awesome sports! stay safe, and watch out for deer.
I really enjoyed that - reminds me of both how I am with my kids and my dad was with me. My immediate action following watching this was googling âwhat is cribbageâ but I got only got to the âBritainâs National card gameâ before I gave up - haha! Thanks for the entertaining content! - DIYNate
Kids are expensive.....
Truer words were never spoken
Eyes and ears always for everything.
This is hilarious! Thank you!
Charlie, As I recall, the cribbage board that was popular in Manitowoc in the 70' was made from a toilet seat.
Lmao hilarious video, but love them all! Met you last year for a Beer Capitol party at Potawatomi Casino, crazy this year is so much different than last. Your playing cards are awesome by the way!
Your dad is great!! Omgoodness, I felt like I was in trouble đŹ
Hey there, just got back from the Fleet Farm, bought the 35 lb bag of pet food. đđ
Go sit on the bucket, so funny. Your Dad stole the show
Dad is hilarious!!
Woo! I choked laughing. "This is my show now.. go sit on your bucket."
Next year I'd like to see a Keep 'er moving advent calendar with beef jerky inside. Maybe your dad can help make that.
As soon as you sat on that bucket I was reminded of the last line of "There once was a girl from Nantucket":
And as for the bucket paw tucket
đ dad: âthis is my show nowâ
Man, nice family Charlie has.
LMFAO, this made my day. Reminded me of my Grandfathers basement, except his had a dirt floor and you had to go down a ladder to get in it.
that was a very funny video. I love playing cribbage! Go to the bucket Charlie!!!! HAHAHA
OMG love the Dr.Brule shout-out,for your health
đđŻđđ The innuendos! Nailed it!
That's why I use a CNC to make a cribbage board!
Got an OPE orange beanie for Xmas!
God I love cribbage
i love your vids could you possibly do a vid on small towns in Wisconsin
Was not expecting Charlie to get absolutely roasted, but it was funny.
Edit: Thanks for the 28 likes!
Edit again: Thanks for the 43 likes!
Bruh, 43 likes for a big video like this is nothin. Get used to it guy
2:48 Charlie looks like he is about to cry
Wow, that's like my Dad!,.. but I don't have a Bucket.....
A case of beer and a cribbage board sounds like a lot more fun than a PS5. IMO
Hey Charlie. A retired police chief from Peshtigo WI used to make them out of thick plexiglass. You could put pictures underneath and a felt bottom to make them your own. He also used a lathe to make metal pegs and they were easier to handle. đȘ Give me a shout out if you read this!
This video is a joke in a way, but I literally bought my dad a $200 cribbage board. I now wish I would have just made one. Cribbage is probably the best all around game to play. I tried to teach my wife and daughter but they dont like it. I wish I had someone to play cribbage with.
Merry Christmas and watch of for deer.
So everyone in your family is funny đž
Iâm not allowed to break into dads wood shop until da room is clean.đ
Yer Dad is Aaaaaawesomr!
