60 years ago... I was there when George Reeves was taken from the world...The headlines read "Superman killed.." It was a horrible day for me as a kid...but as I grew-- I realized...it wasn't the men - who donned the suit, the red cape or the Sigil of the House of El, it was people like me that believe in the suit, in the belief, in the House of El mark.... Superman is forever.... as I enter the last stages of my years of life-- I hope--that each an everyone of you and perhaps your children and your children's' children discover him, believe in him and take from him of what he stands for...Thank you Kal-El...ty for everything.....
Thank you for your words. I couldn't have said it better myself. This crest is a symbol that will outlive all of us by simply existing with its values. Superman is not just a character. He represents the deeper truth that anyone can be a force for good, no matter how dark the world gets. I think we all need a little of this right now.

Superman has to do the hardest choices every single time... choose who can save and who can't not, because he is not omnipresent... he has to bare with that pain, without breaking and this trait came from the most human part of his heart: HOPE.

Hey man - words cannot describe how touched I am by this. I watched this this morning and I suddenly just started crying. Tears were streaming down my cheeks a mile a minute. Even if no one gives this comment a second’s thought, I just want to say that superheroes truly can inspire us. Superman saved my life. Not long ago, I was depressed, hopeless, and had nearly reached a point where I believed life was irrelevant. My beautiful family and close friends have helped to show me that there is hope. Hope always exists - sometimes we simply have to look around us or up at the sky. Superman fueled the idea in me that hope always exists - especially if you’re as big of a fan as I am and are currently caught up on comics haha. Anywho, thank you for this beautiful tribute. Thank you, Superman. Your legacy lives on. It always will.

even in the world we are living in right now, superman doesn't just save people, he makes them see the better side of them selves and gives them hope to be something greater and he may be fictional but he's an inspiration and he saves lives from loss of hope and every time I watch him, my entire spirit changes into something...better, Superman's ways, acts, personality and vibe just feels so hopeful, compassionate, heroic, kind and inspiring, it has something about it can cut deep down for all of us. so deep. This is a quote that comes from the "Man Of Steel" movie with Henry Cavill. It's what Superman's dad told Superman as he was getting ready to fly out to rescue Lois with his new Blue Suite & Red Cape on. Love it when Superman turned around to leave facing his dad & just leaned back & slowly floated backwards out of the Space ship & then turned back around to face towards the direction of where Lois is falling in a space pod then flys to her & saves her from death. I loved it.

I hate when people say "Superman sucks" Or "He's the worst hero." Because Superman is the literal Imbodiement of HOPE that's what his house is and he was raised by the most inspiratial people he could have ever had. He sees the good in all people and protects the people of earth even when they don't want him too. So when people say those things, I kind of just look at them and feel sad because they have no hope or sense of morality 😂
All my life I've known Superman, and known him to be amazing. It's only after I've gone through some dark moments, existential crises, and overall meaning-of-life questions, that I've looked at Superman and found all the things that I believe in again. Life is important and we all can achieve everything we need in life, we just need love, acceptance, and most of all Hope.
We can all be Superman.
