I have a boa constrictor myself and she never bites, ever. I’ve been bitten & clawed more by dogs and cats than my snake. I understand the fear, but they make amazing pets if given a chance.

@@S.leepyedits Yeah, wild snakes can be venomous or non venomous. But You should always keep your distance. Snakes never want trouble, they attack only for defense when people get too close. As long as you stay away, you’ll be fine. If your area has lots of snakes, watch where you walk. Don’t wear open toed shoes, and move away slowly if you’re too close.
I am terrified of snakes I don’t know how you are ok with them.

The Boa absolutely acts like an Alligator because it’s hiss is a sign that the snake is feeling threatened and doesn’t want to have business with humans. Also they do that strike dance move similar to a an Alligator.
Proud owner of a boa constrictor! They're such great pets to have. Of course, try to get one from a good breeder or a rescue. Not the wild 😂 Thanks for relocating this one!

@@MabzProductionz She was a baby. Her bites were scary, but I just kept holding her until she calmed down. Did this for about a week and she turned into the sweetest thing in the world. Now she loves being handled by everybody!

It’s really interesting seeing a BCI in its natural habitat. All the BCI’s I know are such lovely snakes, like docile scales puppies. Seeing one full wild and fully defensive is intimidating and impressive!!
