      ​@@ArchaeoSquatch On this note, are you familiar with any grad programs off the top of your head that specifically focus on GIS/geography and anthropology (in either geo or anthro departments)? I imagine many anthro departments offer GIS training, but I'm interested in places that specifically focus on the overlap of GIS/geo and anthro.

    Thank you for the video, very helpful! One question: when I want to create a viewpoint, it says the Raster is not in metric units. How can I correct that?

      You should be able to use the (re)project tool to assign a metric coordinate system (UTM, etc.).

      Thanks! In regards to a webGIS platform, probably nothing as robust as you're thinking of. I do have a couple of videos about creating webmaps from QGIS. They are in the same playlist as this video.
