this year there is a major drop in their quality. nowhere near last 3 years entries. this song is made up of bits of other songs. there is no concept.

Anyway, imo Angelina Mango was the best song to go to ESC, If someone else had won, it still be good anyways. Almost all the songs were on the same level, which is good but not at the same time. However, I am happy with how it went in general at the Sanremo's fest.

Si è vista la differenza tra la sua canzone e molte altre, poi tra performance, presenza scenica, voce... il testo (madame), la prod (dardust) che la rendono orecchiabile (senza sfociare su qualcosa di troppo plasticoso) e soprattutto riconoscibilissima, merita tanto. Esatto! Finalmente qualcuno che capisce! Vedo gente che la critica per motivi assolutamente futili senza considerare la questione musicale, cioè che la sua canzone tra le altre spicca. Fra l’altro chi la critica probabilmente non ha ascoltato altro che “che to dico a fa” e “ci pensiamo domani” che magari possono sembrare più commerciali. Io un giorno mi sono messa ad ascoltare tutto l’ep e l’album che aveva fatto prima di amici e alcuni testi come “eccetera” oppure “non sento più niente” sono opere d’arte per niente scontate. Solo che la gente si sofferma su quello che sente e non ascolta con attenzione

This has nothing Mediterranean in it apart from the language. It's latin pop with strong electronic cumbia influences, it's Latin American as hell.

This song is a mix of many genres, a combination of Mediterranean, Latin American and rap music, all accompanied by good lyrics and great irony. It is sung in Italian but with a clear inflection of Neapolitan dialect especially in the final cadences, the melodic parts recall the typical style of Neapolitan singers and the rhythm, while explicitly echoing Latin American music, also recalls the typical rhythms of popular music from Southern Italy , I'm thinking for example of the "taranta". Finally, the accompaniment with wind instruments is very reminiscent of gypsy and Balkan music. In summary, I consider what was done with this song to be a brilliant operation. Compliments.
