We got all this sophisticated diningware and we start off with pandesal and cheesewhizz. Honestly made me laugh so hard.

We do have tiny bananas. They're called Senorita. Actually we have a variety of bananas in the Phils, like Senorita, Saba, Lakatan, the plantains too, and a few more.

The Tagalog word "Puto" is derived from the Indian word "Puttu" or "Pittu" which is made of steamed cylinders of ground rice layered with coconut shavings, sometimes with a sweet or savory filling on the inside. Filipinos back then probably made it easier for them and spelled the word "Puto" instead; however, they do not associate the word with a person's character and social standing but that of food. Just FYI for everyone! :)
That’s correct ! Tiny Bananas “señorita” we have called it, they very small stout bananas. Damn delicious..better than those bananas common seeing on the market.

Its true we have a vatiety of small bananas called seniorita/lady finger(blog.ediblearrangements.com/different-types-of-bananas/)
You can usually buy them in Tagaytay and can be found sold along the roadside fruit stalls.
wow! great way to introduce Filipino food to the world. It would be good to let the 'participants' mix the halo-halo more (until most of the crushed ice liquefy and all the other ingredients are well mixed-up) before tasting/eating it.
