Herein I detail how to successfully solo a Beast of Nurgle using the chain axe. This monstrosity is pretty boring to fight but is actually kind of confusing to deal with in melee if you've never practiced. So I figured it would be good to just show you the techniques I have found most effective. This is achievable using the Stealth Veteran, Voice of Command Veteran and any Zealot build.

I was really hoping to see more Nurgle daemons like this in the game. Plague bearers could be easily added in as an infested mauler-type enemy, and a bearer on a drone would make for a good boss fight. The Unclean ones should be too powerful for our rejects, plus his fight would probably just be a bigger plague ogryn.

A horde shooter without nurglings!? How could this happen. Truely.

The best day to upload a video about a vomiting monster slug while I’m stuffed from Thanksgiving food. Thanks

I made a boltgun I like to call "the salt shaker" and you can use it on either vet or zealot. The key points are brittle blessing and infested/unyielding damage if you really wanna max things out. Just get behind them and dump it full auto. Usually aggros the boss into turning around for your other three teammates. You'll slay half it's healthy bar.
(Also, good vid, nice to learn how to melee bosses to death if you burn all your ammo lmao)

I think that's how I run it. Its fun but it's not quite what a bolter should be.

I would love to see a veteran focused viable Shotgun build from you. I never see anyone running it, except for the occasional zealot, but in those cases, it is purely as a stagger enabler. I've tried many different builds and a few different shotguns, but nothing feels really good to use.

My brother you should try Lawbringer with the Flechette and Manstopper blessing.
Pair that weapon with weapon specialist to get insane bleed cleaves. Effectively becoming an extra grenade.
Really effective vs hoardes and mixed rager waves but will suffer vs crushers due to bleed being weak to carapace.

I will try to figure something out. A lot of people are sawing flechette and scattershot or whatever but I am not so sure thats what I want in my gun

i hate this monster with a passion. Unfortunately its also the only boss that raking fire actually does anythign on.

Interesting. Never thought of using it on bosses.

Headhunters with deadly accurate and high crit chance on a stealth zealot built for backstabs can also delete them.

@@Reginald-sc9tkmy zealot has a columnus with raking fire on it right now and it shreds things from behind its a very potent blessing in the right situation.
