Tech N9ne “Slacker” was my anthem growing up in KS
Been to 3 or 4 tech N9ne concerts and I swear he never disappoints. Been bumping tech since 99”. My favorite rapper.
Amen brother. I have probably seen him 30 times in person. From 06-2012 I went to every tour and sometimes I would watch him in Portland then the next day drive to Yakima and watch him. I was absolutely obsessed. Those were the good days. I haven’t seen him live in about 5 years or so. I am slacking hard.

Tech n9ne is a beast. My favorite rapper. He has worked with a lot of rappers as well as rockers. Serj from System of a down, Jonathan Davis of Korn, Cory Taylor of Slipknot, Chino Moreno of Deftones and has worked with the Doors. Tech even has a project with producer Ross Robinson.

Guys it's not that tech did a song with K dot, it's about tech being the first one to believe in kendrick. He has a song with him named "I love music" which dates back to 2010/2011. He made him come in touch with Dre if you know what I mean....what a legend

BROOO I've been telling you that you need to show Court "Come Gangsta." Part of the reason Tech is so slept on is because he was shunned from the "normal" rap scene, since the industry labeled him as a white rapper, "Come Gangsta" exposes all of his haters. Tech was really just ahead of the scene, his genre of hard rap is huge today, with artists like X, Denzel, $B, and Ski Mask.
Tech was originally supposed to be on Thugs Get Lonely Too by Pac. Tech and Pac linked up when tech originally was trying to make his push in mainstream and went to California for awhile with Quest records.
Been listening to Tech since he started and this is one of my favorites. Love that you guys reacted to it rarely do I see lesser known older tracks by tech.
Another good slept on track like this is "Last Words" of the Killer album his most well rounded album.
Him and tech nine were good homies, the song is very much real that tech confirmed in a interview it’s called “thugs get lonely too” great song

Kendrick Lamar wasn't even famous yet when they did a song together. I met Kendrick at a Tech N9ne show because Jay Rock who is apart of the same camp as Kendrick was being signed to Techs label Strange Music. Kendrick sold me one of his first albums that day. Then when he was famous him and Tech did another song called Fragile. Great reaction guys!!
So the end of the song, all the names, that's his real family he's rapping for. He is out there for them.
if you havent noticed, older tech is more influinced by jazz where his voice becomes an instrument. in this case usually the snare which is similar to scat which uses the voice as a full instrument instead of a fully forward voice. in art, its equivilant to using words in a picture... imo, when done right, its brilliant. kc pride =)
I highly recommend that you listen to this whole album from front to back, this is the final song on the album, great way to end it.

See 2pac had a song he had already done but when he heard tech he wanted to put him on the song.the prducer was QD3 so after pac passed he ask tech if he was still down to do the song 2pac wanted to make.its called "THUGS GET LONELY 2" and once you hear it you can hear how dope they sounded together.
