Very nice transformation
Outside paint -- great choice!
Wow it looks so good! I love the front doors!
Iâm painting my house white. Iâm glad I got to see what it looks like. My house is very similar
I hope it turns out wonderfully! We love ours.
There is a wood refinisher that is an all in one only clean and lightly sand doors and refinish doors to a new wood color.
I think the wood doors gives the exterior a nice, inviting feeling! And keeps some of the house's mid century character. And perhaps painting the top row of bricks in your half brick wall the same color as the window trim would pull everything together and tie the lights in nicely.
Have no fear, it is near impossible to kill ivy!! LOL
Obsessed with your home! Love what you did with the outsideđ„°
Thank you so much!
Katie the transformation is really coming together. Great job.
Thank you!!
Iâm only halfway through this video & watching you redo your outside makes me excited about our mid century modern house we just bought! Iâm a remodeler by trade. So wish I couldâve jumped into this video to say, âUse a paint sprayer for your brick & start with a primer coat.â Also, use your power washer to wash your windows! Can you tell I love power tools? đ Youâre doing great! Love mid century modern homes. I hope to be posting our progress too. Keep up the good work & have lots of babies!
Welcome to the channel and congratulations on your new house!
Your house is looking Awesome!!!! Your baby is Beautiful!!! Love heâs hair!!!! You all make Beautiful babies!!! It was so glad to see you again!!!!
Thank you!! He's growing SO much I can't believe it.
Appreciate your window color -- great job!
Love the exterior and baby Eli is so adorable.
Fantastic job. You and David are doing a great job.
great job kiddo's, your hard work is shinning brightly!! and ELI!!! OMGosh!! precious and his hair is to be envied
The look is great but for anyone considering painting brick please research products as brick is porous and a product that allows the brick to âbreatheâ is essential to the longevity of both paint and brick. Romabio is the product I plan to use but there are obviously other lime-based products. Also, be careful with the settings on your power wash as brick can break if the setting is too strong.
Hi Katie! Your home improvement and transformation is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING!! You, David, family and friend helpers did an OUTSTANDING job. All of your hard work definitely paid off!
Baby Eli is soooo ADORABLE and CUTE!! đ„°
He is getting so big, and I'm loving his COOL hair!! đ God bless you and your BEAUTIFUL FAMILY. đđđ»đ
Adorable đ
PsâŠ.Behr Marquee is the absolute best best paint! Been a pro painter & remodeler for 16 years. Iâve tried a lot of paints & love Behr Marquee!
We just painted a bahtroom and used Behr Marquee again. We LOVE it!
Everything lookâs wonderful so far. You guys are doing a great job đđ€
It looks amazing!! đ great job :)
It looks so good. Give it a few years and I bet that ivy will grow right back.
Oh Katie! I dont envy you all that painting but it looks great.
Thank you! It's nice to finally start seeing results.
1 You'll Probably Destroy the Brick
Brick "breathes." Unless it can't. Trapped moisture is the main issue in the relationship between brick and paint. "Once you put a membrane [like paint] over the brick, it can no longer breathe," says Mike Palmer, a masonry contractor and president of the upstate New York chapter of Mason Contractors Association of America.
Hi katie you are both doing a great job on the house . Its looking fab . And your wee boy is coming on he has such a lot off hair . Loverly too see the vlog you have been in my thoughts .take care as always love Rhoda xxxx England đ€â€
I know you are probably regretting painting the brick. The original color looks so much better
painting brick what a joke lol
