The part at the end when he shouts makes me so sad because that's the last time he is absolutely truly happy. Then he loses his uncle and then Gwen
Hannah Ruth thx for spoiling it jerk!🤦♂️
SoulReaperSlayer19 this movie came out over 5 years ago and the sequel 2 years later, how have you still not seen them?
OTDinosaur Scrubs 😂😂😂😂
Gwen really hurts... Still crying
I like to think our Petey finds another kind of happiness afterwards with MJ, his aunt even maybe Deadpool :P Maybe Miles, maybe Daredevil.
I love how he shouts "WOOOOOOOOOO!" at the end.
Erik Hackney lol
Lol that's me when I do something I'm happy about 😆

Erik Hackney I haven't seen the woooooooo yet so I will see it soon
Now I have seen it and me too I like that part
“No Way Home” will make us appreciate Andrew Garfield and realize he was actually a great Spider-Man that unfortunately was surrounded by people who didn’t care as much as he did
Andrew was always my favorite Spider-Man.
He wasn’t just a great Spider-Man, he was an amazing Spider-Man
Damn you were more right than you probably thought.
I’ve always loved this Spider-Man
“You are amazing, No you are amazing yeah your amazing”-Peter Parker-Toby Maguire
I don't understand how people can dislike Andrew's Peter, his version of peter was just realistic. people say he looked to cool to be peter? what's so cool about him? having a skateboard? man the skateboard doesn't mean anything he was still some kind of nerd and a shy guy. Andrew really nailed the character which is why he MUST come back as Spider-Man
Agree. Nowadays no one shows themselves insecure or awkward.
Yeah I asked my friends why they don’t like his spiderman and they said because he didn’t save gwen
@@LordPotato690 Spider-Man can't save everyone, unfortunately
@@spiderboi_29 true
@@spiderboi_29 exactly. People were sick about uncle ben death but i'm like you have to necessary, that's why he is spider man. I like tom holland but because they think that audience are bored to see uncle ben death, it's a mistake. The mcu wanted to make their spider man like Daniel Radcliffe in harry potter but what worked in the harry potter, it's the sacrifice but also what really cost for harry potter. Well i'm little bit cheating, there was the scene in the rumbling but i think they should have killed the vulture Just the fact, he loose the father of liz. He could have comfort liz and make him, more like steve and Tony moral but they didn't. That's why lot of tobey fans and andrew were not liking this version. I Heard People said that's a new take of the character. In this case, batman and Robin is a good movie. They are lot of good things from the mcu movie, i think, no way home will conclude this chapter. I'm super excited 👌
I honestly loved Andrew Garfield's Spider-man

Same my favorite version. So relatable to me
You're right

I wish more girls in high school were like Gwen. Peter is awkward and nervous, but she doesn't view it as a bad thing.

@@luisdiaz4646 yeah bro but i still don't understand why there are still some critics at rotten tomatoes who give bad ratings and say this movie is rotten for no reason
@@amrlmlna_ haters gonna hate
As someone who loves all three Spider-Men, Andrew Garfield is the ideal Peter Parker to me. The whole “being a social outcast” vibe was portrayed so well and I resonate with it on a personal level.
Plus, you could tell that he was the happiest actor playing Spider-Man out of the three, and it shows in his performance.
He was really passionate about being the Spider-Man
if Andrew was the first spiderman, he would've captured more hearts. But I still love him, first or no. He is the best character to portray that teenager peter parker we all know.
He actually has the best characterization of Peter Parker and spidey during the ditko era of spider man
He doesn't really pull off the goofy nerd quite as well as Tobey or Tom, but I do rather like his cocky humour scenes
There’s something I can personally relate to with Andrew’s portrayal. His movies were the ones I grew up with so I would have to put him first.
"I dunno we could... Or we could, I dunno, we could do something else."
Andrew was the most realistic Spider-man to me.
Hypnos The Sloth God Spider-Man skateboards in the hallway?
OFC YA
Duplicity Yes totally not like Peter Parker wasn’t a geek and could just go up the hot chicks and get away with stealing peoples identities, riding skateboards in the hallway,is in fantastic shape even before he become Spiderman oh yeah totally the most “Real” Spider-Man
His peter wasn’t good but I like that he skateboards but his Spider-Man was awesome
mystic1410 Andrew peter is a geek who loves science, hangs out with scientist, goes to a science lab, and he's in great shape CAUSE HES SPIDERMAN.. Even Tobey and Tom have amazing body. And he steals people identity and other shit cause he's a teen...
I graduated highschool, and I can tell you this, *_this_* is what asking someone out is like. The nervousness, the excitement, etc. Though it doesn't always work out as well as it did in this scene.
It works out like this rarely
I've never asked anyone out.
It only works when youre attractive
@@markphilipaquino4800 No excuses. Better yourself and build confidence.
@@hecticbeatzz5628 what i meant is girls will only entertain you if youre attractive
I love the symbolism of the skateboard being his best friend. He basically has no other friends like that of Tom or Tobey
He has Harry
Not anymore
It’s just a skateboard. He is more of a loner tho.
@@tamla9875 if I’m not wrong harry wasn’t in the city for a good while until tasm 2
@@tamla9875 Harry was his childhood friend. After Harry moved I don’t think he made anymore friends so
"It was my idea that this iteration of Peter would skateboard, maybe because I skateboarded when I was a kid, and it's something personal to me," Garfield said.
"It linked in so nicely with being able to activate the powers in a new way," he continued. "What's always been important about Spider-Man to me is the lightness, the humor and the enjoyment of a teenage kid getting these powers."
Andrew loves Spider-Man.
He understands Peter Parker.
But he tried something different with Peter's character and I don't hate it. It's multiverse and every Peter can have a different start.
andrew garfield was 28 years old when this movie came and in the movie seeing that he is a teenager he literally looks and acts like he is 17 despite him actually being 28 years old during that time
JurassicAvenger/Goji14 25 bro
Mr. Ditkovitch he was born in 83
Trent xxx oh that’s right thx man my mistake
Mr. Ditkovitch no problem 🔥
No I think he looks 28, I didn't buy the teenager thing. It requires suspension of disbelief. Good movie though
Toby’s spiderman was about the classics
Andrew’s spiderman was a love story
Tom’s spiderman is about growing up
IKR I wish more people could notice that, I love all 3 of them for different reasons
Agree to this on a spiritual level. Thank you.
This should of got the most likes, people failed to see this.
Yep
@The Joker or, you know, all three are good in their own ways
Peter being a more skater or punk type character, while still having peter Parker's comic accurate traits, instead of being just a complete nerd was probably the best decision this movie made. The tasm movies were really underrated tbh
i love how he doesn't just decide out of nowhere to make web shooters out of nowhere, we see him as he's jumping around get the idea to swing from the chains like the spider did
That skateboarding scene is just phenomenal
William Spencer is the stuntman in this scene, go check him out! Amazing skater
Tony Mancini alex olson did the skating
Tony hawk thought the skateboarding scene was terrible lmao
Honestly, this is why I got into Skating lmao.
@@moneymonkey5387 actually, the skateboarding scene was played by andrew’s clone, because he(the clone)have the real skateboarding skills
Andrew Garfield for me, is the best Spiderman!
Chum del Rosario same
Chum del Rosario count me in!
Chum del Rosario should've atleast finished to ASM3, that movie has so much potential, also it's andrew, he's a god
Same Tom holland is not nearly as good as him but what kills me is that people like Tom holland so much
Chum del Rosario Spider-Man
This movie is so emotional and inspiring. Best Spider-Man movie ever. The action, the suits, the choreography, the acting, the tone…. Everything is just PERECT. Nobody will ever make a movie as good as this Spider-Man movie
I agree
the music
I agree the 1st was hella better then the 2 one
I think the lizard is not a great villain, but except the antagonist, I totally agree. Andrew is my favourite Spider-Man, the songs used in that, Gwen, and the whole writing is just soo good. Probably this is my favourite SM media, even though I really like the Spectacular animated series, and the 2018 video game. I love Marc Webb so much. 500 Days of Summer was good too.
andew honestly fits the role of an awkward teenager, really fleshes out peter parker as a character and that hes actually more human than you think.
I started skating in probably my sophomore year of high school. Along with it came the beanie, skate shoes, somewhat rebellious behavior. No vandalism, just skating in places I wasn’t supposed to and riding in the halls at school to see if I could get away with it.
I’d frequently hang out later than curfew, promising my mom “it won’t happen again.”
Now looking back after seeing this movie, is reminded I too didn’t have a dad. No real male authority figure. So In school, I naturally felt resentment toward authority in general.
I like many, was also bullied. Im currently 5’4, 120 bs, so you can imagine how small I was in school compared to everyone else. I had few friends because like Peter, mine moved away early on. My hair, my oversized lips, my height, and my race resulted in a lot of teasing. I kept to myself, social skills weren’t as developed as they should have been, and I would mumble resulting in people asking me to repeat myself.
So finding skateboarding seemed like my coming of age in essence. Putting an end to that dork phase so I could grow.
Now I skate because it’s fun. I carry myself with confidence, and I think there were a few times where I had too much and fell on my face, on a skateboard, or not.
This scene really resonates with that reclusive person who isolated themselves to maintain optimism. Sacrificing a greater growth to maintain present sanity and State of mind.
More than that, despite this Peter Parker being “too cool” or “not nerdy enough”, he definitely speaks to a significant demographic of people just like me. And this Peter’s journey is one that I think inspires that demographic to not be ashamed of an incomplete upbringing, to find that thing they love to fill those gaps. Some people have more than most and have little need for these things. But for some, It’s those things and passions that get you noticed. Thank you Marc Webb, And Andrew Garfield...And also Coldplay.
Amazing Bro 🙏🏽🙏🏽 Stuff like this is why Spider-Man is my favourite superhero

In my opinion he was the perfect Spider-Man, even better than Holland.
True Andrew and tobey will always be the real spider-mans tom holland is still kinda good tho
Agree...tom is good, but andrew is way better
I love them all for different reasons
I don’t like how they made Tom a sidekick and his annoying lines, its such missed potential cause he fits really well with the Peter Parker character they did his Spider man completely wrong
SONY WAS HERE
2:44 honestly loved that for some reason. The spider-sense sound effect in the background made a cool mini-scene 😎
I love this scene because it's so realistic and detailed, at 0:05 notice how Gwen was in the background peeking at Peter and quickly looks away when Peter turns around and noticed her staring. The camera was focused on Peter and uncle Ben, not Gwen, yet the details shown are so precise and realistic.
This is probably the happiest Peter ever was in life
I'm about to say it and get ripped alive for it, but I low-key liked Andrew Garfield's interpretation of Spiderman better than Tom Holland's

_i like how it showed him training to be spiderman at the end, it makes no sense in the other versions how the spidermen get bitten and suddenly know how to do parkcore and etc, but in this version you see him training over time and getting good at it._
Well he sorta automatically gets the parkour and reflexes through the bite, however in the movies they do sorta skim past him testing it out which I liked how they didn’t do that in this movie
1:50 the way he look at Gwen just cute. The background of the song just beautiful cause it just match this skateboard scene ❤

I know people criticise these movies and a major part of it is blamed on the direction. But I love these movies because I was invested in Peter Parker as a human so much more than I am in the other films and that's because of moments like these. Marc Webb really knew how to bring about the humanity of Peter Parker and he really had an eye for creating these signature musical moments. There's a similar sequence in TASM2 with Gone, gone, gone playing in the background and when Peter and Gwen reconcile with Song for Zula playing in the background and it really just makes these movies so special to me. I concede that the villains were weak and the execution could have improved a lot more in both movies' climaxes but man oh man do I keep coming back to these movies for such moments. And it's in large part due to the charisma and earnestness that Andrew Garfield brings to the table!
Well said!!
Idk why andrew garfield gets so much hate for this movie. Personally I think that the amazing spiderman is one of the best spidermans. His skills, the story line everything about it is just amazing
Tobey Maguire will be my my favorite Spider-Man but I definitely would have to choose Andrew Garfield as my second favorite Spider-Man over Tom Holland
Think most or all of the hate came from the Tobey movies being cancelled this is my fav Spider-Man personally
Damn...He's got a nice head of hair.
How can Garfield NOT be the universally loved incarnation of Spider Man/Peter Parker?? Every clip I see of this guy, there is charm and wit; he never seems helpless to me. He played him cool but approachable. What a missed opportunity to the Marvel universe.
Tom gets the blockbusters, and Tobey gets the nostalgia vote. But Andrew is the one I want to see more of.
Everyone Andrew is the best...Its just ppl not wanna accept
it's been 8 years. and i still had butterflies in my stomach watching this.
Hey, this film deserves more credit than it's worth. I believe that if (hopefully) a new Tom Holland spider man comes out with Tobey and Andrew's Spidey, we will get their definitive characters realized. I just want to see all of them together one last time

Say what you will about the amazing spider-man franchise but this scene with the skateboard is one of my favorite moments of a spider-man discovering the potential of his powers that scream at the end and andrew garfield’s face is like some one realizing how special they are for the first time in awhile
Garfield transcended the character from comic /animated to the big screen . McGuire is OG but Andrew made u connect with Peter on a very human level , sharing his emotions through thehighs and lows of the movie imo
