Amazing tips for great and effective communication. However, I would like to add one more tip which I follow in life and that is 'We should often appreciate and praise others'.
For example: Wow, nice outfit, You have a great voice, Your handwriting is amazing etc.
By praising them, we let them know that we notice even minor details about them. Don't resist, whenever you find anything praiseworthy just say it.
