I don't care what anyone says, any player that's willing to turn down 7 million dollars to help their team is a team player...100%!

Love Jrue holiday. He’s a dog on defense and unselfish but high % shooter on offense with championship experience. And the fact that he signed a 5 year extension and declined his player option shows he wants to be here and believes this group can win a championship. Really unselfish move by him, in an nba full of players who just wanna go where they can get paid the most, have nice weather, AND win a ring. Jrue has got that Boston Celtics mentality. Toughness, grit, defense, unselfish team basketball as a unit and it’s all about winning that ring! This keeps such a solid core together for the years to come. Bet the Bucs wish they never let him go and replaced him with sad boy primadona lillard. I’ll take Jrue over him and day of the week. Go C’s! ☘️

This is great news. Brown signed and Tatum soon to be I hope, The future looks bright perhaps a dynasty is in the making? White on the side of Jrue with P P coming off the bench then he comes due after the next season.
I see what Brad Stevens and Boston owners seeing in the future, expecting that the salary cap keeps increasing so those contracts will be enough, and probably aiming the 1st apron for the coming years, but they need to plan carefully

Yeah exactly. I think Brad is makin moves to keep his guys happy for the post season, and then will make some moves to trade them out.
Jaylen Brown won’t be a Celtic for the duration of that super max extension. Absolutely no way Brad won’t deal him when the money situation gets tight. I think that’s the reality, and it’s a win win situation for both the organization and Brown. They can attempt to win with him for now, dish him when Brad finds pieces he likes during the offseason, and Brown gets his own team away from Tatum, which is what he wants.
