    "Who needs gulp when you can throw zman" I love it. My favorite capt by far. Never stop watching and never stop learning. Thank you

    We have been getting crazy low tides south of Texas, and we have those exact spooky red fish. Great tip cap.

    You are the best buddy. Literally showing us EXACTLY how to do it!!! And I love the honesty how you weren't able to hook any before switching to the ned rig. Capn C.A. is da man

    Capt. thank you! Always a wealth of insight. I'm in S.C. not much grass, but def.spooky cold reds warming on the flats. I can't sell anything here recently, so wearing out the trout. I use 8lb.braid and 15lb leader but I prefer 2500 series reel. Keeping it light, let the drag work, Love it. thanks again this is the BEST channel hands down.

    Wow great catches Capt! Definitely learned a lot with your Trout course on Saltstrong! I'm actually on module 4 on the Snook class. You're an amazing instructor and really enjoy how in depth you are with preparation to tackle these fish. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!

    I love the nature coast. That one fish couldn’t have been too spooky though. He hit it as soon as it hit the water. Good stuff though I need to get back up there.

    15# leader is losing me Ned jigheads to Snook here in tannic Myakka River. How high up in leader can I go without losing my Ned Rigs magic?

    • @flatsclasscharters
      @flatsclasscharters Před 3 lety +2

      Try a step down leader set up. Use 15lb leader but tie on a 6” of 30lb at the end of that section for bite tippet

    Are you fishing with or against the current? I always wonder which way to retrieve given tide direction. does it matter?

    • @flatsclasscharters
      @flatsclasscharters Před 3 lety +2

      There was hardly any current but when there is current over the grass retrieve with the flow or you’ll get hung up a lot!
