- The 2 ways that I work soft plastics for shallow water redfish and speckled trout. The first is just a fast steady retrieve and the 2nd is bumping it fast so you don't catch grass. Works for me pretty dang often. Ihope the tips are helpful

Dumb question for Mr. Justin . With a single power pole does the boat sway side to side? If so do you still use the trolling motor (spot lock) amd power

Thank you I appreciate that! It doesn't sway much but you have to fish with the wind. A lot of times I use spot lock instead of the power pole
