Excellent sermon. Thank you, Pastor Evans. This speaks directly to me. I used to think like that, when I get to here, I'm going to do this. When I get more money, I'm going to do that. It is true. If you use what you have for good, the Lord will bless it and it will come out so much better than you ever expected. Then he will promote you. This is so very true.
That was me, I did things based on my own understanding, gave information bases on what I thought about a subject. Life is so much easier when I look to the Holy Spirit for guidance. I’m totally blessed God gives me information and answers when I don’t seek His guidance.
Dr. Evans I haven’t listened to the sermon yet, I will this evening; however, I use to make it a morning routine to play gospel music while people were getting their meds. In groups I would talk about how God delivered me from situations being conscious of glorifying God / Jesus and not seeking vain glory. Dr Evans you’d be surprised at how people/ places don’t want to receive the message. In this journey of the different facilities only one was receptive to Gods message. It’s proving to be a little challenging being a messenger of the Lord. Two facilities offered earplugs. Unfortunately I only have 1 child and she isn’t receptive of this new me. I love her dearly. She was 3 years old when I got incarcerated and was going on 14 when I came home. So it’s definitely my fault, not hers because I wasn’t there to do my job.
And sometimes even the best men and best women fall short, but we need to always be loyal to the Lord and be grateful and genuine. Thank you Tony, God bless you my brother ❤

I was wondering if someone can answer this question... In the 1 king's 3 Solomon ask god for wisdom... And God replied because he didn't ask for a long life. Et cetera he will grant Solomon wisdom to lead his people... Why is asking for a long life a bad thing... Is it because he wasn't asking for Selfish reasons or a long life specifically. And they wonder why so many people don't read the bible.. It's like measuring it with a micrometer and then heading it with a hammer... Don't get me wrong. I love the Lord. It just gets frustrating because I know other people will give up reading the bible because it's so ambiguous and can seem contradictory at times and be taken out of context.

This seems to be tiptoeing into raising godly men to fight the evil that is taking over. The first time i am hearing it and i must say i am skeptical. Up until now, all the sermons are about being good and kind. If we are meant to be warriors against man, we should have started long ago. Not going to indulge and promote war as a christian now.
lets take up the goad or what is in your hand and fight the good fight by taking back our families N Leading them in the ways of the Lord. God doesnt need us to go out and club someone...he can fight his own battles.... he has given great opertunity to be more that a couch potato and just sucking up filth...go and and enjoy serving your family, brother and community....Jesus loves you!
