Last year I went to a sale and bought a camo backpack for five bucks. Just looked in the big part and said I’d take. When I went home, the pockets were filled with lures! I went back to the sale and told the guy I’d give him more bc of everything that was in the small pockets, he said don’t worry about it! He said “ go catch some fish and keep the fishing spirit alive”! Guy was in his 80’s. Some of the stuff I pulled out was over 40 years old and I’m still using the lures! Keep it up brother! Fun video. That homemade lure looks like a current Flatfish lure. A Bluepike was the smaller cousin of the Walleye. Bluepike were extremely sought after in Lake Erie up until the late 1950s. Now they are extinct.

Great video Mann’s still makes the jelly worm and used to market the little George tail spinner It was classified as a spoon. They also were the first company in the 80s and 90s to market the 1 minus the first one foot diving crank bait. If you can try to find and fish the Mann’s auger tail worm landed me my first bass over 15 lbs the body is the length of a Texas rig hook and the rest all tail it had this Mann’s FS 454 scent that the bass would hold on to these were the days before powerbait.
I live on lake Erie and I can't believe he mentioned blue pike. They were a sub species of walleye and we're totally wiped out by commercial fishing. I love the yard sale vids.
