as a disabled fan, i loved the look with the cane because of how yvie took her disability and always made it into an asset and promoted adaptability instead of just assimilation with the abled contestants. still so glad she won.
I'm disabled too (EDS like Yvie) and I completely agree. I'd love to see a contestant who is a wheelchair user as well.
The thing about Yvie that I loved was how honest she was. In her style, her personality and how she interacts with people. She was not afraid to be weird and was opened to critique. CONSTRUCTIVE critique. She was just herself in allllllll her oddities. Love ya girl

I've never been as excited for a queen's runway as I was for Yvie. Every single one of these looks was different from the other, I've never seen such versatility and creativity before.
Yvie’s final looks were so breathtaking - She found the perfect balance of glamour and oddness, and she’d never looked better. Her final lip sync outfit? Amazing. The little details, the overall effect, the weirdly beautiful disturbance of it all; absolutely show-stopping. She deserved that crown through and THROUGH, Honey.

Yvie had the most memorable looks of the season imo.
Digital Lion, Jellyfish, Citrus clown, Trick or treater (even if some don't like it its still memorable), Witch (very fashionable), Farm to Runway, her facekini look is the most memorable to me. Her makeover look is also the most memorable, since it's very on brand (different). And of course her Final Five eleganza. It was SO stunning.

I don't know why the denim runway got so much hate. I was OBSESSED with how perfectly Yvie and Scarlet sold it, Scarlet was so bomb in it!

I always do a fun thing when a new season of Drag Race starts. I get some paper and a pen and write down my very first impressions of all the Queens as soon as they walk through the door for the very first time into the workroom. I like to see how my opinions change as the season progresses and I get to know everyone better. I remember writing for Yvie something like: OMG, I love her!! she's my winner! and she was my favourite the whole way through the show right up until the last episode :)

Desolate ...well no, she did not walk the runway in that look so it is not even „technically“ a runway look. It is AMAZING and definitely one of her best but it is not a look she wore on the runway.

Yvie’s my favorite because she’s just a delight to watch. She’s never boring, always surprising, and always fashionable. When she walks the runway, she makes it like I’m watching a full character come to life.
She’s creative and funny, every look is something I’ve never seen before. She’s got so much personality. I’ve never seen a Queen as truly unique as her.
Yvie serves weird, scary, glamorous, and she always makes it work. You can tell by this comment alone that I can’t sing her praises enough!!!

I love the Black Version of Peg Bundy. The Hawaiian Fall. The Enlightened Monk, Her Interpretation of Alaska, The Jellyfish, The Witch, And her finale gown before she lipsynced for the crown was a beautiful nod to Attack On Titan.
Why is her Alaska runway so damn underrated? She should definitely have been high in the first Episode.
