I'm so sorry for your loss Maria. I lost the man I love suddenly 2 weeks ago. He had been away 4 months, he was coming home that day, and he collapsed and died. 😢 Mad props on doing videos. All I can do is distract myself and cry. Hugs.

Blue is one cute puppers! He makes me miss my Sully Boy. We lost him to cancer in December of 2020. I miss him dearly every single day.
I had heart surgery in March 2021, after having a heart attack. Almost at my 2yr. anniversary of recovery. I'm 68 yrs. old and I look at every day as a gift. I'm sorry to hear of your family's loss. Just wanted to tell you how right you are about our time here on this planet is so limited.

First to say, that Blue is looking great. By the way, our Australian Shepherd had an idiopathic cough her entire life (15 years). We gave her NAC (supplement) and it helped to protect her lungs.
You should not have to explain your absence to anyone, Marie. You have your personal life like the rest of us. I hope Blue gets well soon. Coffee is one of those drinks I have to make myself as I have not found any good coffee in public restaurants. I stealth camped outside of my gym last night and was never bothered by Security or the police. Loved it. Enjoy your journey!

I hope Blue is all better by now in real time but I used to work at the county shelter and one day my personal dog caught kennel cough from me. I put a small amount of melted honey in her water and it helped soothe her throat from all the coughing and she healed up on her own in a few days.
Also, it’s crazy how sometimes it takes a devastating loss like losing a loved one to show us how fragile we are and how short life can be. A friend of mine was hit by a car at the age of 15 while walking to school and that changed my whole life. I have done so many things I never thought I was capable of in honor of her. We are so much more capable of achieving our dreams and goals than we realize and we might not have as much time to do them as we think so there’s no time to wait!
I seen where you and Eric shared a campsite and he is a great guy , he's knowledgeable and wants to help you in anything . You don't find good friends like him always so cherish the friendship and keep going .
You remind me of myself and will soon be taking a road trip as soon as I get my Jeep out of the shop. I designed and built myself a pull behind Camper/Trailer fully self-contained with solar power. By the way I wish you and blue a marvelous time and a safe trip.

A good car/truck camping tip for excessive humidity is using the defroster/AC as it pulls out moisture from the cabin. Humidity can suck :)
The quilt barrier towards the windshield helps a lot to retain heat in the sleeping area. Smart idea!!

Also, suggest checking out the Family Business brewery in Dripping Springs, Texas, just outside of Austin. Dog friendly.

First Maria ❤️✝️I'm so very sorry for your loss. 2nd, you are 100% right about living your best life bcoz it does fly by. I'm 65 now and have had many very serious health issues but we still went and saw so many beautiful places and parks all over this gorgeous country. I would have felt so deprived without doing so. Hubs and I love nature and he's a great photographer self taught. He is my rock and best friend. I can't go like I used to, facing 2 back surgeries and in so much pain. So yes, go, travel while you can. Life is sooo short. ❤️‼️👋🐕🐾🐾

Here's an idea for you. Pick up a couple black shower curtains with magnets in the bottom. Cut to fit and use the magnets to hang them.

Seeing Buc-ees after midnight is the way to go. Just be prepared if you stop during the day...a zoo. And pricey. But, the brisket is worth it. AND BEVER NUGGETS!!!

Sorry Maria for your loss recently- and feel bad about Blue getting kennel cough - hope you both get feeling better without any issues to both your health - hope you can get a diesel heater soon to dry your vehicle out with the humidity and having a vent to release the trapped air from breathing too - they have spinning vents which are great for doggies - the wind spins the vent to create a fan effect - just concerned about potential moisture problems developing into mold - please take care & have fun in your travels -enjoying your travel adventures 🎉❤😊
Hey Maria, great episode. I know how challenging life can be. I am so happy you are staying positive in the midst of personal loss. It's not easy. You have a great community here and wonderful friends who support your dreams. I am also glad to see the strong family bond you share with your parents and siblings. It makes my heart smile to see a young lady such as yourself speak with such wisdom regarding how we must make each day count for the time we have on this earth with the people who matter the most. Personally, I choose to build wealth in relationships not monetary. Making memories is a wonderful investment in this life and has a much greater return than any amount of money can. Hey girlie , grab you some magnets with hooks on them from home depot and grab you some cloth shower curtains with some cool scenery on them( because they have the eyelets) and use that set up to make privacy screens👍

I guess "stealth" is a relative thing when you're driving a RHD ex-military Land Rover in the USA. 😄
One small bit of advice: turn the grab-handle on the rear door upside down.
If you put your weight on it, as you get in and out, it'll bend down and break.
Turn it upside down and it'll be much stronger. 😉

I lost my English Bulldog last year (Dec) he was 11. I’ve never cried so hard, especially for an animal. He was my first dog and the best dog I could ask for. I’ll never get over it. Life is too short, but especially for animals. You’re giving blue the life all dogs want. I love you for that

I’m so sorry for your loss Maria. Take all the time you need to heal please. Life is just as you say too short. I remember every year I had to board my cats when I went back home for Christmas they would sometimes come home with kennel cough. They sounded like they were bringing up a dry lung all the hacking. They were also fully vaccinated too but it’s like a virus so very hard to not get if they were exposed. It’s kinda like a sinus drainage cough in us until it gets bad. He doesn’t sound so bad though. Sometimes they shake it off on their own sometimes you need antibiotics and meds. Part of parent life.

You just never know anymore really.. I was trying to stealth camp at one of the many Walmarts in Phoenix, and just when I thought it was cool, I got "THE KNOCK" at 12:30 am! Not fun! I had to find the nearest Cracker barrel to crash! 🤷

I'm sure you know Blue's moods by now. My Aussie would get antsy whenever she needed to poop. She was on a pretty much, feed, exercise, poop schedule. But when ya gotta go, ya gotta go even off schedule. Hope Blue is feeling better. Very sorry for your loss.
