I built my Mort on more of a damage build (still on counter), around 17k HP, 249% cdamage, 1.8k attack(yeah it's kinda low), 189 speed (it'll be higher in a bit), and from my experience the damage build can actually do a little bit more, since you can capitalize off of just the defense breaks on his kit to deal some decent damage. However he doesn't beat out other bruisers on this build from my experience, and he can't exactly beat dps units even if he goes twice for whenever they go once (if he procs his speed buff) because his initial hit to proc the def break probably doesn't do enough if they have protection. I think this build probably only does well against some full tank comps who cycle slowly, or full dps comps if you can manage to keep him alive. Just sharing my experience with using him.

You are the only person who I tolerate Raid Shadow Legend ads from.
Pretty much summed up the problems with Mort - he's too RNG reliant. 20% counter chance, 50% def break chance, 40% S2 proc chance, and he also provides the most rng buff aka anti crit 50/50. Heck even injury is hard countered by FCC barriers. Almost nothing is guaranteed on his kit
Once they buff his s2 and s1 he will be better. Give him like 80% defense break and 80% skill 2 proc

His Def break is fine, it's can ignore effres so he gonna have 50/50 chance to Def break against ALL enemies, no matter how high Thier Eff Res is. I think his S2 could have a higher number, maybe increased chance when in rage mode. His S3 lmao got countered by barrier hard. I wish it can ignore at least barrier, even if it's locked behind another condition

Counter mort is too rng reliant. You are expecting a defense break or the proc of his passive which is kinda low. The reward for counter set is unreliable to have any long term values. Judging by his own artifact, he was definitely intended to deal damage while having a bunch extra utility but his HP scaling is not that good and the crit resist should at least be 2 turns to provide a solid impact tbh. I think using mort as a secondary knight with adamant shield (with aurius user) is better for now. For his set, speed crit is fine. If you could reach 100% CR without the crit rate set, i recommend immunity or hp. The goal is to treat him as a support unit. He could provide injury, trigger defense break, trigger crit resist but if he doesn't, adamant shield will reduce the CD itself. For his set go HP% neck & ring with speed boots. Since crit damage is not the focus of of this build you should go for substats like HP%, Def%, CR, Speed/FlatHp. This build is only suitable in pvp tbh since in PVE, mobs rarely crit.

if they buffing s1, they can give it 75% chance but only for 1 turn, s2 maybe 50/50, s3 is ok, maybe give rage 3 turns and skill cd increase by 1 or keep the rage 2 turns but s2 proc decreases s3 cd
honestly he just need a skill multiplier increase. his base skill is good at it is. as a "bruiser killer" bruise, his hp scaling dmg is pretty dissapointing (so his injury stack is slower as it designed to) compared to non meta unit like fire ken or meta tank FCC.

That would be INSANELY broken. 100% def break chance that ignores eff res on the basic skill of a knight that can (and will) run elbris along with a counterset is completely gamebreaking, even if it only lasts for two of his turns. I know Mort is not as satisfying as we wished he'd be, but I don't think that is the right way to fix it.

Mort sucks. They definitely have to buff him. I have similar stats to yours but an additional 100% crit damage. He hits like a wet noodle. His s2 needs to be 85% or even 100%. They are probably saving that for his EE. But he needs buff. Freaking bait char for the limited hero coming out.
