I have the book in the new version. I love the idea of the stunt system. My players are very invested in d20 systems (D&D/Cypher etc). I have been wanting to try the system, I am curious if the stunt tables will cause decision paralysis.
first thanks for watching and the comment! IMHO it does at first, be patient as the GM, but take it from the players will soon learn their favorites! and the go to's and it will flow! I've run the previous version a few times and really enjoy it! I cant wait to dive into this version!
@@MrMeanSpeaks Thank you, I have been looking for a system that would work for the setting from "All for One: Régime Diabolique" now that Ubiquity is no longer putting out content. This may do nicely.
@@cybermerlyn2 I do think you are correct! GURPs would also be good for that as well...
The Stunts can cause some indecision. When running, we've found that providing Players with copies in advance / for personal reference is one help. I also ask my Players to consider the stunts and find a few personal favorites for their PC so they have some "go tos".
@@cybermerlyn2 Fantasy Age or Modern Age could be really good for that.
Green Ronin Publishing have stolen my gaming love since they released the original "Dragon Age TTRPG" (it was Bioware, not Bethesda, fyi...no biggy); and I was hooked on their whole thing.
My only issue with GRP has been... Im in Australia, and their store doesn't ship here...we're not even an option...and they dont give DriveThruRPG the ability to "Print On Demand" for here either, so I am subject to the whime of local hobby shops and book retailers! And I have JUST (yesterday) found an online book store who has both the GM Screen and Core Rulebook for Fantasy AGE 2E in stock.
Its probably not alot of stock, and I dont wanna name them, because I have to wait 12 days before I have the money to buy them (almost $150 all up), but I will...because I love the system! And its my chance to finally get them!
