Paul is right. Strategy is important. Researched product more likely to sell than a product which is just listed blindly. I improved my optimised on a product with no sales and by following Paul’s advice I sold 6.
my suggestion do small amounts like maybe 2 available at a time then once you get the money from the customer load it on a visa debit card or open up a checking debit card account. 0_o hope that helps!

It states in fine print on Ebay's policy that you listing on ebay and then purchasing an item from another retailer (Walmart for example) or marketplace that ships directly to your customer is not allowed on Ebay. I see a whole bunch of other sellers promoting these same Walmart products. Is it possible that they're all breaking this rule, or do they all have contracts with each individual supplier?
That is the rule. But everyone does it anyway. As long as it works why not? But to be totally compliant with the rules you can do wholesale dropshipping. I teach both methods in my course.

Thank you for this great info. Got started using this method a couple of days ago, and nearly got my whole account suspended off of ebay. Apparently you need contracts with all each individual supplier even if it's from Walmart's website . Ebay's has gotten strict with dropshipping on the platform. Is anyone here familiar with contacting suppliers such as mainstay? And how to get them to contract with you?
Actually eBay has gotten less strict about dropshipping in the past years. But otherwise to follow the rules you can do wholesale! This is something I teach in my course.

Hi Pual. I recently tried dropshipping from china. But the shipping is so expensive because most of the suppliers use freight with UPS en Fedex. And i cant find any USA shipping agents in china.
Dropshipping from Chinese websites works but it’s not the way I prefer to run my business. Customers like fast shipping. When items come from China, they take a long time to arrive. That’s why I prefer suppliers based in the United States. Faster shipping, great customer service and easy returns.
paul, what i dont get is when i find an item on ebay, and then locate it on walmart the prices are the same there is zero money to be made even if you wanted to increase your price later, what do you suggest whem the prices are basically identital?

The product research method/formula is very hard when doing technology and clothing (Nike, Adidas, etc) doesn't work very well. I've just started drop shipping, and I use Walmart as my supplier. So far I've only been able to find one product so sell that has a good profit margin

Yes it is. This has actually been the "rule" for a while now. It's one of those poorly written rules because it says "it is not allowed" but they still allow it (eBay knows we are dropshipping yet they haven't banned us for it). Instead, eBay only lowers dropshipping listings in the search results, which we've known for over a year now. But they won't lower your listings if (1) the don't know you dropship (and if you do what I teach in the course they won't know) or (2) you sell products other people don't sell unless they also dropship or (3) you use wholesale suppliers, which is 100% allowed on eBay (and I teach how to do that too inside my course) My team has done a ton of testing around this and the course went through some major updates pretty fast as a result.
Maybe You've answered this question already, but if anyone can answer it, please. Isn't ebay and amazon policy not to dropship from retail stores and other marketplaces? So how this can be done without being caught and suspended?

Chechen JP I do not know the answer. But it is easy to look up eBay‘s terms of service in regards to drop shipping. It specifically says you cannot dropship from retailers. Because when people find out that they could’ve bought it at Walmart cheaper… Well how would you feel.
While I have many students who do live outside the USA and are able to dropship successfully, I'm based in the USA and I'm a citizen here so the course is coming from that perspective. I don't have enough insight to show exactly what to do if you're not in the same position as I am.
Question: I have a issue with VERO that auto ds did not show nor is the company listed on the list. It seems that any and all companies on the list or no can message ebay about infringement as long as they are the owner. How do you avoid this? Other dropshippers been using them as well
You should know that VeRO stands for "Verified Rights Owner." When you infringe on the owner's legal rights, you will have your eBay listing removed or your account suspended, and if you have any questions about that, you will be dealing with the rights owner's legal department and/or attorneys. EBay will have no pity on you. Good luck.

I said there not on the list and nor does auto ds have it in there system there is a issue. Listed or not rights owners have rights. The rights owners that are listed are just making it easier for you to contact their legal departments. If you don't violate their rights, you won't have a problem with them. If you wonder how to avoid violating the rights of people who own the rights, you can ask them. The company that owns the rights to the Velcro brand for example, is very active in getting listings removed that violate their rights to their intellectual property. And yet, there are about 150,000 listings that have "Velcro" in the title, so simply selling something that refers to a company that is listed in eBay's VeRO listing doesn't assure you that you will be flagged. You just have to follow the rules.

Hmm I'm not sure. It's impossible for me to tell without looking at your account because there are so many different factors. You have to consider your price, titles, photos, account standing, etc.

paul, what i dont get is when i find an item on ebay, and then locate it on walmart the prices are the same there is zero money to be made even if you wanted to increase your price later, what do you suggest whem the prices are basically identital?

The trick is to sell at a loss and make it up in volume. And do it before eBay suspends your account.
The product research method/formula is very hard when doing technology and clothing (Nike, Adidas, etc) doesn't work very well. I've just started drop shipping, and I use Walmart as my supplier. So far I've only been able to find one product so sell that has a good profit margin

Out of those 100 people, only about 50 followed up after I sent them an explanation and continued to complain about it. Yes it is. This has actually been the "rule" for a while now. It's one of those poorly written rules because it says "it is not allowed" but they still allow it (eBay knows we are dropshipping yet they haven't banned us for it).
Instead, eBay only lowers dropshipping listings in the search results, which we've known for over a year now. But they won't lower your listings if (1) the don't know you dropship (and if you do what I teach in the course they won't know) or (2) you sell products other people don't sell unless they also dropship or (3) you use wholesale suppliers, which is 100% allowed on eBay (and I teach how to do that too inside my course)
My team has done a ton of testing around this and the course went through some major updates pretty fast as a result.

Chechen JP I do not know the answer. But it is easy to look up eBay‘s terms of service in regards to drop shipping. It specifically says you cannot dropship from retailers. Because when people find out that they could’ve bought it at Walmart cheaper… Well how would you feel.

While I have many students who do live outside the USA and are able to dropship successfully, I'm based in the USA and I'm a citizen here so the course is coming from that perspective. I don't have enough insight to show exactly what to do if you're not in the same position as I am.

Question: I have a issue with VERO that auto ds did not show nor is the company listed on the list. It seems that any and all companies on the list or no can message ebay about infringement as long as they are the owner. How do you avoid this? Other dropshippers been using them as well

You should know that VeRO stands for "Verified Rights Owner." When you infringe on the owner's legal rights, you will have your eBay listing removed or your account suspended, and if you have any questions about that, you will be dealing with the rights owner's legal department and/or attorneys. EBay will have no pity on you. Good luck.

Listed or not rights owners have rights. The rights owners that are listed are just making it easier for you to contact their legal departments. If you don't violate their rights, you won't have a problem with them. If you wonder how to avoid violating the rights of people who own the rights, you can ask them. The company that owns the rights to the Velcro brand for example, is very active in getting listings removed that violate their rights to their intellectual property. And yet, there are about 150,000 listings that have "Velcro" in the title, so simply selling something that refers to a company that is listed in eBay's VeRO listing doesn't assure you that you will be flagged. You just have to follow the rules.

Hi Rosealine! When you first start selling on eBay, the money will be released to you once your tracking number shows the item was delivered. After 2-3 months, the money becomes available pretty much right away. Here’s a video explaining:
