Hi Peter, I've been enjoying watching your videos. They're very inspiring and instructive. I'm actually from Brazil and I just started my basic course to become an aircraft mechanic and right after that I'm gonna go for airframe course. Which will allow me to work with that at the beginning. I also plan in getting powerplant and avionics afterwards as well.
i appreciate it . wishing you success also . if you have any personal question you can alway text me on instagram @peterjanded . and we can also try to schedule a call also
Dear Peter,
I'm 52 yrs old and a naval aviation veteran(Indian Navy). I've 15 yrs of experience on Seaking helicopters(A&P), but not certified. Can I get a job in Canada as Aircraft Mechanic? If yes, what do I need to do? Would be really grateful if you could advise me on how to get it.
Many thanks to you in advance Peter!🤝👍
You’d have to go to school then once you graduate you can get a job easily as an aircraft mechanic.
I thought Being an aircraft maintenance engineer is little easy other than india but after hearing your podcast i feel little relieved
Im 43 years old and went in to auto mechanics. I regret it now as there is a very hard cap on salary because of the flat rate system. Wished i would have gone in to aviation.
Hi Peter,
I am trying to learn more about Avionics and Aircraft mechanics, and I am so glad to have found your channel. It is very educational and inspiring. I am a 37-year-old girl who graduated with a completely different course - Economics and Accounting. I have an interest in studying at Aeronautics University here in my country. It may be a bit tricky since I am trying to understand if I can find a job once I graduate and finish the exams and all. Maybe I would be around 40 years old by then. Do you see people of my age working in your industry? Thanks in advance.
Age isn’t a problem at all. Everyone above 21 can become an aircraft mechanic with equal’s opportunity. That’s the beauty about the industry. Also wishing your success in your journey 🙏🏿
Yes you have more opportunity as a female, and age is not a problem in this field most important thing is your wiling to do a job safely by the book because you have to sign for everything and their are opportunities in avionics
I just graduated as an aircraft maintenance and soon will work at AAR, We have a lot in common and I have lots of questions for you. Is there any way that I can contact you easily other than comments? Btw love your vids man keep it up.
Yes most definitely. You can text me
On Instagram. @peterjanded . I’ll get back to you as soon as possible

What's your advice to young personels who want to persue that program but they are in short of fundings , do you assist them in giving them scholarships or links so that we attain this discipline
for scholarship , i dont know any program. that offer that. but you can try to get an apprentice job . you can actually work as an apprentice for 4 year and still. get your license. because that one the process of getting your ame license . it might. be a little bit hard. but it is possible.
Hi could you please tell if there is any college in Edmonton Alberta where they offer ame college diploma somewhere like centennial college here in Toronto?
