Eraser is discarded from k-12 according to melanie in an interview she said that the album was going to be more trap and dark and with toy sounds, and another argument is that since the budget for his k-12 movie was not enough for him, therefore he had to discard several songs between these Gluestick and Papercut ring pop and its final version are also for cry baby but I discarded them also because they didn't fit with the album it has a resemblance to alphabeth boy haunted would also be in cry baby but was replaced by soap 99 cent was for cry baby but I discarded it because it did not fit into the history of the album
she actually talked about 99 cent store on an interview very happily and she said that some songs just don't get to be released because of reasons she never explained. but I loveeee 99 cent store so much I wish it was released but it's ok her released songs are good anyways💐🌷💖💖
From what I remember Mel said that 99 cent store didn't get released because it didn't fit in the story of the crybaby album, some other songs don't get released because she can't visualise a MV too

I love all these songs written for “Crybaby” (and not only) album, they are INCREDIBLE!!! But I think since this is Melanie's first big work, she had an idea and concept in her head of what she wanted to do, but for the most part she still experimented, and did not fully know what Crybaby’s story would turn out. About sixty songs (including published ones) were written for this album, and here are the reasons why Melanie could not implement them: 1. Budget problem(( unfortunately, Melanie had so many wonderful ideas for songs, but she just didn't have the opportunity to make them all a reality 2. Not all of these songs adapted to history. Many songs (including "99 cents store" and "haunted") are insanely beautiful and amazing, but not suitable for history, knocked out of the plot 3. Melanie just couldn't physically put 30-50 songs on the album (maybe she could, but she said it herself somewhere) 4. A small part, but still there were demo versions and unfinished songs If anything, I didn't try to say that any of the songs are bad or something, I adore all Melanie's projects, and admire her works. Thanks again for shooting these videos, girl, I love you and have already subscribed! What about "Eraser", it's definitely something I really liked from Melanie. Since she already had in her head the story and development of the plot for the second album + the script for the film, it was much easier to write songs here But I think that this time there may have been problems with visualization (Melanie said in “artist spotlight stories” that she has a "picture" and visualization of the song when writing it, and often, if she does not know how to visualize the song, she "throws it away") + again, the song could not get involved with the plot and the full film. *Melanie also said that from the main film, which lasted 3 hours initially, they cut out half due to budget problems, so it is not known what happened in this part of the film 🤔
