I dropped the subframe 3/4" when I did mine because the HAYNES manual told me I would need to so that I wouldn't put the lower arm bushes through too much stress when popping the lower ball joint ? After watching this I wish I hadn't botherd. Thanks now I know.

Please don't instruct people to hammer straight on the cv axle with a hammer. It will mushroom the end of the axle and completely ruin your day.
