I have travelled EIP service between Kraków and Warszawa multiple times and the whole experience is absolutely first rate. Possibly the best value for money rail in Europe.
It's possible to get EIP tickets from Krakow to Gdansk (or one of the other TriCities) for as little as 99 Zloty ~ (20 Euro) in 1st class, did it a couple of years ago. nice ride on the Polish Pendolino. Could do with a fast EIP line between Berlin-Poznan-Warsaw
Do you know that at 10:23 the name "Kibel" is just a humorous name for the EN-57 trains, probably the world's longest-produced trains? About 2,000 were taken! And "Kibel" colloquially means WC :D

KIBEL 🚽 trains used to be very old ones. 13 years ago i was a train manager heading from Kraków do Auschwitz with British tourists and I'll never forget them being so upset because of very hard and uncomfortable plastic seats..
I will be riding on this train on July 20th, from Kraków Główny to Gdańsk Oliwa. And, yes, according to 8:40, we made a mistake, during our return journey from Sobolew, Lubelskie to Krakow, when we travelled on train Chełm via Lublin/Zamość - Gliwice (via Rzeszów) (one of trains connecting Krakow and Lublin, the other one is running via Radom), we took off the mask, but, few stations later, conductor came to us to warn us to take on the mask (he was angry) and we took on the mask.
It is planem that in 2023 speed will be lifted up on CMK to 230 as i know. It albo has good average speed on cmk as there no intermediary stops between Katowice/Krakow - Warszawa

BTW, I remember times when I was little, it was a line for train tickets 🎫 quite a time was needed to book it at least from 3-weeks to a month in advance, because of no tickets available for a good berth (not about European, nor Russian). The trains were always very full. 👆🏻As for Russian, there was always Russian “somovar” in Russian firmennie trains ->Also it was clean and accurately maintained.
swiss railways terminated the collaboration with the pendolino trains because of frequent irreparable break downs. in curvy stretches people also got sick.
@Joanna Pakosz this is just what i was getting whilst listening to the swiss news. some years ago, so 10 years. www.railjournal.com/rolling-stock/suspension-defects-ground-sbb-pendolinos/ as far as i understood it, the swiss railways did a joint venture with the pendolino development, but then got disenchanted with problems that did not get fixed and trains stopped frequently for faults that were not solved. as for people getting sick, maybe in poland not that much of a problem as the country is much flatter. but i can tell of my own experience when driving through valleys with many curves, it gives you an eerie feeling the train tilting rapidly from one side to the other. naturally the tilt trains strenght is in curving as they can through it faster. not saying the problems are not solved now.
Apparently track width in Poland is the same as in UK so why I have this impression that Polish trains are wider inside then UK ones? Last year I had the pleasure to travel from Krakow to Gdansk on pendolino train set and I have to say that comparing with Virgin (known by me), it was quieter and much more comfy... really! I could never afford first class on Virgin btw... But can't understand one thing- WHY THE HECK THERE IS NOT AVAILABLE WI-FI ON PENDOLINO TRAIN?!.. On such a modern train connecting such a modern and popular cities?... does any one have any answer to this?...
They added wifi in Pendolino but it is only usable to check email (like free wifi everywhere in the world). We have really cheap fast mobile internet in Poland like 6 euro for 15 GB full speed 4G internet so noone really needs free slow wifi.
I would say it depends on current position of the train and number of people using it at once. I reguraly travel between Kraków and Warsaw and use wifi all the time. Sometimes it's faster, sometimes it's slower, but I barely have issues with too small bandwith. BTW, if you want to have more space when riding 2nd class of EIP, choose your seat in car 5 or 6. If you let the system choose the seat automatically, it will firstly issue it in car 4, thus it's the most crowded one, even if there's barely anyone in 5 or 6.

Lol, Ticket is not worth it and as citizen of Koszalin, I can say that train cant go with the most efficient speed until reaching Gdansk. For travelers best way is land in Poznan and go to Koszalin within 4 hours by direct line, then you just switch to railbus connection and you arrive in Mielno (just in 15 minutes). Calm small coastal town with a lot of tourist attractions. Faster and cheaper!
This is literally the first time I read "calm" as an adjective for Mielno :D There are plenty of calm towns on the Polish sea shore, but Mielno is not one of those. It's more like Sopot but less posh. Białogóra is calm, Jarosławiec is calm, if you want something slightly more "town-like", Rewal is still quite calm, but Mielno is anything but. Mielno is great for people wanting to get wasted and party all night. If anything, Mielno is more like the Polish Ibiza.
8:04 in Polish TLK Class ussualy we need to sit in 8 people in one room idk how its named at English but in Polish is "Przedział" there's a four sofa's for two people that's was really non confortable

jechałam ostatnio TLK z Wawy do Białego... było gorąco i strasznie upalnie. siedzieliśmy w przedziale w 5 osób i było ciasno, potem wracałam do wawy, to było nas 6, jeszcze bardziej gorąco i ciasno tak bardzo, bo gościu miał składany rower >,< nie wiem nawet czy na tej trasie jeżdżą jakieś IC...
yes; they use the same tracks; however, EIP trains get higher priority in times of disruption; between Warsaw and Krakow there are several lines/tracks; EIP trains use the CMK high speed line

Poorest region in Poland. Only in that region and sometimes in Eastern Poland you can see from train serious signs of old "communist" times poverty e.g. old damaged infrastructure. Sending high speed trains to small cities on local lines like Kolobrzeg or Jelenia Gora is ridiculous. On local lines Pendolino is not faster than local ordinary trains.

Show really and reality polish trains, TLK ,IC,IRegio. Its not look s so luxury and is not so comfortable for Poles and other abroudtravelers. For many Pendolino is still to expensive. U show somthing beautyfull but mostly unreal 😂

Koszalin Kołobrzeg only 90 kph. For this short route, EIP is money wasting, but on longer distance is very good.
Since December 2020 this trains also reach 200km/h on Gdansk-Warsaw line :)

No. Promo ticket at lowest price costs 150 PLN, if you buy 1 month before journey. Standard price is about 300 PLN

Well, i travelled few days ago the Krakow-Kołobrzeg EIP and there was 2 seats free in whole train that was free
