  • how to diy your own cable for power of ethernet or using 1 cable for 2 camera's
So if you don't want to make the cable here are the store bought examples.
www.banggood.c... // 5e to 2x100mb adapter This might be wrong now its seems they changed my link , it is now a splitter Y adapter for 1 male and 2 females...
and I'm pretty sure the 3 female versions are not to change into two separate 100Mbps
    www.banggood.c... // 5e to PoE adapters
also look for camera's on same site.. however I like any camera that comes with
icsee as they are easy to custom the firmware if needed plus support onvif for dvr's

Hi its just a shell i printed for the guts of ptz baby monitor. Some of them make great outside security camera's (pinhole through fence idea) as its the same insides as the true outdoor ptz camera's , they also used icsee which if it does you can connect to Security dvr as well. however at the time I was finding them for like 20 bucks..

Thanks for the work you've put into this video. This morning I tried to run 2 cameras off 1 POE line but I used mode 568B connected wires and it didn't work, after watching your video I can now see I have to wire them differently. Once you have wired them what do you use to connect them to the cameras, a 3 way adapter? I'm still not seeing how you connect the wires to the cameras or have I missed something?.

Hi thanks for the comment.... outside i run hubs... so if you want to run the 2 camera's off one cable.. one end of the cat wire with the 2 ends goes into a hub or router.. the other end gets plugged into 2 separate camera's ..
For the one camera plus power. again the one end gets plugged into the camera and the other end gets plugged into the hub or router.. The dc power gets plugged into outlet and other end into camera..
From the hubs out side they each get connected with each other .then one main network wire runs back into my house to my router.. From my router one network wire goes to my security dvr box..
So now i can record 24 hours on top of the sd cards.. and use cms software if needed on pc ect..
      hopefully that makes sense..
but if you don't want to run hubs then just have a power bar by your router or switch inside your house.. and run the network plus power to each camera with its own power and network cable. or if they are all the same voltage . Get a really good adapter with high amps to power all off one adapter..
Sooo the 3 way adapter . if you are talking about the network part of it.
you have to use 4 port hubs they are about 5-10 dollars. the ones i got
and run at 5 volts 100ma
the power i use a mix of through the cables and directly plugged into outlets and bars.
at main sections like hidden fence camera's i use cheap small plastic tool boxes that can fit the power bar ,Dc adapters, and hub. then split all my camera's from that hub to 3 more camera's and a hub ect..

much easier by using pass-thru rj45 connector.
