💐about me
Hi! My name is Heidi and I live in Tokyo, Japan. 🍜
I moved to Tokyo, Japan as a Japanese language student in 2019 due to my love for the culture. Since that time I've passed the JLPT N4, JLPT N3 levels and N2 levels! Hopefully I pass N1 in the future.
In my free time, I love exploring all of what Japan has to offer: from eating delicious Japanese food, to learning Japanese, to exploring local spots around the city I try my hand at documenting every moment of it.
Come join me!

Yes! From Abroad in Japan! Ever since, It's been in my bucket list to cycle Shimanami :D
I really hope you get to! Plus, Red Bicycle Onomichi is so convenient 🥰💖
@@heidisarol is that the bike rental or the name of the bike? 😊
@@happychristelle bike rental! 🥰
@@heidisarol cool!! Thank you! I wish I can bike here in Manila too but the road isn't really cyclist friendly 🥲
Love your cycling vlog, Heidi!!! 😍💖💖💖💖💖

Tysm!!! The views were so calming hehe. Have you heard of Shimanami kaido? 💖
@@heidisarol I haven’t heard of it until this vlog, ate. I’m only familiar with Mie and Sendai po. But Shimanami seems so nice so I’ll put it in my bucket list hehe

@@heidisarol Exciting!!!
Yay 😊
Yaaay 🫣💖
I really really pray that I will be able to do this someday!! 🤩😍 You're living the life I am imagining po talaga 💖
Kaya mo yan! 🥰💖 Do you cycle where you live?
@@heidisarol I don't but I do know how to cycle. 🥰 Your vlogs are really inspiring. 💕 I look forward to more vlogs. 💖
Never heard of the place but looks interesting. How many minutes/hours away is it from Tokyo? The news re opening of borders was music to my ears.
Its about 10 hours by bus and 3-4ish hours by bullet train! Its in Hiroshima prefecture :)
Yesss but as expected not all tourists want to comply with mask "rules" 😭
Great video…hoping to cycle Japan spring 2023…was wondering if you could tell me if bicycles can come into the hotel rooms or storage rooms or if they will need to be locked outdoors? Also do you know if a folding lock is enough or do you need a proper Ulock for the big cities. Thanks for any info
Most hostels and hotels have designated parking areas so theres no need to worry 🥰
@@heidisarol thank you!
Hi! Where do you get music for youtube without copyright?
Hi, loved the video!! Planning on doing the same trip in May this year, just wanna ask around what time did you guys start cycling on Day 1, and around what time did you finish? For Day 2 also? Just trying to figure out what’s a realistic schedule for a group of friends to do this since we’ll commute from Osaka on Day 1 and then we want to go to Matsuyama on Day 2 😅 Thank you so much!!
Hi!!! Thank you so much.
We started cycling by 9 or 10ish I think :) and we finished by 4 or 5pm.
For Day 2 we left by 7 or 8 since we were trying to catch the bus from the end point back to the port. 😌💖
No problem, I hope this helped!
@@heidisarol Thank you so much! This is super helpful ☺️ When you started at 7/8am on the 2nd day, around what time did you arrive at Imabari Station if you remember? Thank you again!
Hi! We got to Imabari just before noon if I remember correctly 🤔
Hi did you do the typical route (onomichi to imabari)or the reverse?
Onomichi to Imabari!
That trips looks so fun and relaxing. But 60 km?? That's far... for me. Haha I live in such a sedentary lifestyle so bikers really amaze me. I don't have such endurance and strength, just climbing up the stairs makes me super hingal hahaha.
The view is amazing tho. Ang ganda nung Hill of Hope! Plus I believe that it's way much safer to bike there than here in the PH.
Yeah it was the farthest Ive ever gone rin. It's manageable as long as you arent being rushed though! Just admiring the scenery makes the km go by faster hehez
Yeah!! The hill of hope sounded like a tourist trap pero ok naman hahaha
@@heidisarol Yes! The scenery is so beautiful. It's actually my first time to hear/see The Hill of Hope. It sort of reminds Temple of Leah ( another sort of tourist trap LOL ) Is it free or may entrance fee (yung hill of hope)?
Hi! Does the bus from Imabari to Onomichi allow bikes? I want to rent an e-bike and we'd need to return it back to Onomichi but don't know how to get back with it from Imabari.
Hello! Yes it does! But you need to dismantle it (in our case since we rented road bikes).
@@heidisarol Thank you! Do you know if there's any other option if we're unable to dismantle it?
