    Great video. Really leaning towards this unit since I’ll only use it when towing my buggy. Your video goes into much greater detail than most. Just earned yourself a subscriber Sir!!

      Haha thanks man, we’re glad you like it! We definitely feel the possibilities are endless with this camper and this was our vision of what it could be. The best part is there are even more plans for it as well!

    Many thanks for making this video on the Adlar 6.5. I like the Dickinson marine furnace install - especially how it vents all of the combustion gases to the outside. My guess the Dickinson is way less fiddly than a diesel heater.
    Just a quick criticism of the RV industry - The folks who build these campers in Indiana seem to believe everyone wants to be tethered to shore power. From my experience, adding a lithium power station works out well for providing a 120 volt AC source while boondocking. Plus, it supplements the storage capacity of the camper's battery.

      @Nadventurefam  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Exactly! Yes the propane is much better in my opinion. And having the removable portable battery is so nice as well can take it outside if we need power out there and adds so much power when it’s plugged into the camper!

      Thanks man. That furnace is definitely worth the upgrade! I’ll be doing a video on the furnace alone over the next couple days so be on the lookout for that!

    Great review!! We really like your enhancements to the XL! Question - Do the window blinds and edge of the bed get real warm when the furnace is running, looks like it’s close?

    • @Nadventurefam
      @Nadventurefam  Před 4 měsíci +3

      It hasn’t gotten too warm. I think because the windows get cold at night, it is enough to maintain a good temp. The bed gets a little warm but since there is no open flames, just heat blowing out, I’m not worried about anything catching fire. We’ve slept with it running all night for multiple nights and never had any issues. I do plan on doing a separate video on the fireplace all on its own so be on the look out for that. And send me any other questions you may have and I’ll be sure to answer them there too.

    Cool upgrades. For the shelves you installed in the closet, at what exact height did you screw in the shelf brackets? How do you know where the aluminium studs are?
    Thanks.

    • @Nadventurefam
      @Nadventurefam  Před 28 dny +1

      I honestly don’t remember the exact measurements but I found the studs by simply knocking on the walls until I found a distinct sound difference. It worked I’d say 98% of the time 😂

    You have done a nice job with this rig. With three furnace mounted where it is, does it keep the lower part of the camper warm? I ask because it is so high.

    • @Nadventurefam
      @Nadventurefam  Před 3 měsíci

      If you check out our video on the furnace itself I kinda explain what I did to solve that issue as I did mount it about 6” too high. Go check that video out 😄

      Are you talking for the venting and propane? Then yes! It was a very easy install.

  • @edwardboyer7102
    @edwardboyer7102 Před 3 měsíci +1

    ? For real craftsman that actually camp an build stuff please would ah webasto diesel heater be easy to install or would it destroy the integrity of the camper from cutting an modification propane heat is cool but I have ah diesel truck so I figured I could just draw fuel from my tank 😉 an not have the propane tank hanging off my camper it's just to flammable my grandkids like hanging out an the camper is cool

    • @Nadventurefam
      @Nadventurefam  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Diesel heat would be a good idea if you have a diesel truck I agree. The propane works well for us and once the camper is up on the truck, the tank is up out of reach of small children.
