@Dantes230 to be fair your eyes have issues noticing any difference between 60-90 fps anything over that is mostly pointless. The obvious improvement is over 30-60 fps
They need to build stormwind and have it be an actual attraction.. like the town's they have in Disney world
They'd probably never do that, they favor Horde too much. Probably only if they made Orgrimmar too.

Imagine the city coming to life like in Elder Scrolls Oblivion/Skyrim and you growing up on the streets of Stormwind, maybe even later in the game experience the destruction of Stormwind and become a warrior, could make an awesome single player rpg.

I don't get why that's even a point. I play horde too but you're implying that by simply choosing to play horde it's effecting people's ability to think Stormwind is beautiful? Or that any art artifact in the game that isn't horde evokes some negative emotion in you? I mean I get it to an extent but... Really? I'm inly saying this because this is the third comment now I've seen that starts and ends with "I'm a devout horde main but.... This is beautiful"

I HOPE they do that after Classics runs out. Another timeline, a little more challenging and a massive graphic overhaul would be nice. A new combat system would be nice too.
I'd love that but I honestly think that the biggest factor on what made WoW one of the biggest games in history is the experience. It's almost impossible to replicate that considering all the QoL features that is expected from Blizzard upon release. There's just a very small chance that Blizz would make a purist MMO as their new game.
i wish that too but i always remember that they need to remake the original world plus all what the 7 expansions added of continents , thats a huge project , and its risky because the mmo market is not that hot right now
and also wow have the low requirment thing so more people can play it , a remake will muuuch better pc from players and not many can afford that , so yea i wish but i know its not gonna happen
Nova I think it is important to keep in mind that all of the craft was far from perfect even a classic. The “experience“ was and still is riddled with chores and tasks to keep the player busy and they did not spend nearly enough time with quality storylines to follow.
If they do a wow 2 I hope they drastically change their quest design philosophy - because what they use currently is an insult to players use of time.
Blizzard got lazy. Made billions since wow release and have barely released any games.

I take it you mean Suramar? That would be pretty amazing. Given Suramar and what BFA gave us of Zin-AZSHARI, those night elves had some mindblowing architecture 10k years ago.. Darnassus.. well it WAS in a tree so they could 9only get away with so much up there..
So just use unreal engine to remake wow classic, that gonna be a new super interesting new game

@@bezoro2008 I have to agree. Hi-res graphics, hi polygon count and photo realism are incredibly boring and everywhere these days. I would never play WoW like this. I resubbed to WoW for Classic, and it has never been more beautiful.
@@foetwenny Broing? lmao I will say to each is own but imo youre crazy realistic graphics is what brings a game to life it sparks imagination. It heightens the ability of you imagining that youre actually there not the mention makes better roleplay. The only reason why Wow gets away with its cheesy cartoon graphics is because of all the other aspects they put an immense amount of detail in, for me the lore alone in wow makes it better than any mmorpg out there. But imagine wow with these graphics riding an ironbound protodrake through storpeaks mountains in northrend. I'd admit playing with these graphics in wow dungeons and raids could be intimidating and a sight to see. I feel like having these graphics would make the game better than it already is and itll give it a leg over all other mmorpgs there would be no room for doubt.
So unreal, this this may be the best yet great job!!!

That's because it would be unplayable as an MMO. One of the keys behind Blizzard's success is doing games that are playable on a wide range of machines, both lower and high-end. You don't cater only to the players with the highest-end systems possible. UE4 stuff like this looks really great, but it's beyond impractical for use in an MMO with potentially hundreds of players in one area.

The bigger issue is that the art-style of wow is a lot less realistic than what's seen in the video. Blizzard sticks to their artstyles pretty well and I doubt this would fit. Addressing your other point, UE4's biggest hurdle with making MMOs seems to be the backend server stuff (which is always the case with MMOs). Unreal has some pretty good scalability and optimising assets for lower specs wouldn't be out of the range of possibilities. UE4 can be used to make mobile games that still look alright.

The hardware improvement in the last 10 years was extraordinary fast. In 2010 a 2gb graphic driver for pc was considered good now you can have much more performance in every aspects for the same price.

I had this same vision; Blizzard getting togethr with someone to create a WoW theme experience, of Stormwind and Orgrimmar. Frack me, I'd sell stuff to get over there to visit that.
