The Air Force Memorial is located across the river from DC at 1 Air Force Memorial Dr. It's easily accessible by car and a 20 minute walk from Pentagon City or Pentagon Metro Stations.
You can also visit it as a stop on many night tour options with the various hop on hop off bus companies such as: www.partner.viator.com/en/145...
There is a reason for the three spires but there are many more parts of the memorial that you can see when visiting it up close.
