Noah's Ark Puzzle (6000 Pieces) Jigsaw Time-Lapse #2

This is the second time I worked this puzzle, a decade after the first time. The sky felt like it would never end but I was happy that I did it first so I didn't have to go around the top of the table. I love the colors of this puzzle, but there are too many pieces that appear to fit but aren't correct.

Wow. Two 4x8 sheets of ply wood, three chairs to sit at, and it seemed like days of almost no progress in that sky.

What's even crazier to think about is that the 4x8 sheet wasn't big enough when I did the 9000 piece Bombardment of Algiers puzzle because the width was over 4 feet :)

Right now I am doing 3000 piece Ravensburger puzzle. And there are also many interchangable pieces.

It can be so frustrating when a piece seemingly fits and then later it is confirmed it isn't.

Hi..who could help me for my enquiry. I have a "1500 pieces puzzle" (sunset on Mykonos, TRF 261448). Generally, the indicated number is not the exact one...usually the number of pieces is superior.
As I moved from home twice and my daughter sometimes "touches" the puzzle I would like to know the exact number of pieces.. I don't want to start it with some pieces missing..I counted twice and I found 1548.I looked in the internet but not yet found the answer..
